Don's Home Furniture — Attraction in Madison

High quality furniture no denying that, but my customer service experience fell way below the acceptable mark when paying a premium for goods and services. Major lack of communication between delivery service and myself. Waited 45 minutes then called to get a better ETA. I was told it'd be a half hour and they expected me to pay without seeing the furniture. Keep dreaming... SInce I had to wait an additional half hour I decided to run another errand rather then just waste more time waiting for the delivery crew. I am called that the delivery service was there after 15 minutes and was told they threatened to leave because I wasn't waiting for them with money in hand upon arrival. Also again was pushed for payment over the phone before seeing the furniture. I arrived 3 minutes later and am greeted by a disgruntled delivery driver with a poor attitude. He was very curt as if I was one the inconveniencing him. After the furniture was delivered and placed I thanked them, while the same disgruntled person stands in my face saying nothing... I ask him what he needs and he says "he's not leaving until payment is made and confirmed with who I talked to." Severe misunderstanding with this company in who is providing the good and service to who. Not only will I NEVER purchase anything from them again, but I am going to make it a priority to tell others about the unacceptable experience I had with Don's...

I've driven by this store for years not realizing how amazing it actually is inside. The staff was wonderful. We spoke with three different employees during our process and they were all willing to spend as much time as we needed to understand our options. They were absolutely a big part of what will keep me coming back for years to come. They don't work on commissions and this is the furniture buying experience the way it should be.

We had been searching for a piece for our living room. Nothing at other stores felt like it fit either the size, color, style, or quality. That is not the case at Don's because every piece is fully customizable from the base wood (SOLID Wood not veneer over mdf) to the finish and handle options. You're paying for quality but its not going to break the bank.

Excellent place to buy furniture! Bought a whole bedroom set (2 dressers, 1 king bed frame, 2 night stands). Yes, they are more expensive than other stores but the quality of this stuff is WAY better. Plus you can customize your furniture. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved working with Brandon at the store. We hope to work with him in the future. He is amazing!!! So knowledgeable not pushy. We stopped by many times before making the final purchase and he was great every time. We will 1000000% be buying basically all are furniture from here on out from Don’s because why would we go anywhere else? This place is just that good!!!
