Edit with the remodel: prices are outrageous and they are pricing their free donations higher than things you could find at Walmart. They also need a damaged goods section that is marked down because there was this whit dress with heavy stained yellow armpits and both sides had a couple decent size hole- for $8. Went from 3 fitting rooms to 2 that stayed lock and you have to bother someone for a key. If they are worried about people stealing, maybe if they had actual affordable prices they wouldn't have a problem. They also got rid of the rewards program out of the blue. I had a decent amount if points saved up only to find out they were just gone and no reimbursement. Ridiculous store!
Fitting rooms are still barricaded which is especially ridiculous when the majority of what they sell is clothes. Worst of all you don't get your money back for a refund. We should be able to get our money back if we aren't able to try on the clothes. Getting store credit or replacing the item with something of the same price should only be allowed if we are allowed to try on the clothes. They also don't tell you the return policy or have it posted anywhere. It's only after you spend $70 on new clothes for school with only a few items fitting that you check your receipt that you see you can't get your money back. Feels...
Read moreAs a classic broke college student, I've furnished 99% of my apartment with items I found here. There are days you walk in and find nothing of interest, and other days where you fill a whole cart. The prices are kind of outrageous considering these are used items- even items visibly torn, tattered and straight up broken will have a price tag of over $10. I saw a large broken picture that still had a $40 price tag.
My biggest issue currently is the fact dressing rooms are still closed after over a year. I shop for business clothes and have to take the risk of buying knowing they may not fit. THEY DO NOT REFUND YOU. You get "store credit". With gas prices and inflation I NEED to be able to try on business clothing without having to spend $30 on items that may not work and I won't get my money back. Money I don't have the luxury of really risking as a broke college student trying to get internships. Please please please open the dressing rooms back up. Mask mandate is over, barely anyone is even talking about covid...
Read moreThey used to be somewhat fair priced. Now I've seen a lot of stuff that is way to high. They seem to forget its donation. It's ridiculous for people that actually are trying to shop there to save money. At one time it was a really good Goodwill, they used to put a like things together so it made some sense. If you wanted something that was electronically it would be in the electronics aisle, if you wanted cookware it would be in the cookware aisle, and if you wanted a decoration it would be in the decoration aisle. Apparently the workers couldn't figure out what stuff was so they thought they would dumb the system down. Now they seem to organized by color... So if you know you're looking for something blue... you may find a flower pot that might be next a bouncy ball, a stapler, and a...
