Riddle's Jewelry - Mankato — Attraction in Mankato

This is my first review ever. The manger Jasmine did refund my money. But I brought a broken ring there and they said they couldn’t fix it and that they had to put my stone into a whole new setting ok whatever so we did that. When we finally got the ring they gave me a ring with an unfinished band that was not put together fully so the band broke in half my ring came back dirty and there was a crack in my stone. I had the band fixed and it broke again so I took it somewhere else to have it fixed and they said it’s now a weak point so it will break again ( Wich riddles did NOT tell me) so I brought it back to riddles and they put a thicker band on it. They said the goodsmith could fix it but then he felt uncomfortable working with my stone ( moonstone) so they took it to Rochester, Minnesota and they only did half of it and they felt uncomfortable with it so they took it somewhere else and I got my ring back a month later then they said. Well I just got the ring back and my stone is lose. I have had this ring for over a year and I’ve only gotten to wear it for less than 4 months in total cuase riddles has had it the rest of the time. Keep in mind they made me pay for all repairs when it was their fault I get my ring back more broken then when I give it to them. I will never return here. We were on the search for an anniversary band, and had looked online and at another big name jeweler. I had an idea of what I wanted but needed to look around before making a final choice. Riddles was one of the places we stopped. They had a good selection and the prices were very reasonable. The color and clarity of all the diamonds we looked at was great. Grace, the young lady that helped us was wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. She wasn’t at all pushy, but was extremely helpful. We did look at a couple more places after Riddles. One store had a beautiful ring that I really liked, but quite honestly, the sales people seemed more like sales people than someone trying to help me find the right ring. She was very attentive to our needs and provided us with confidence when purchasing an engagement ring. When my finance and I decided to design a custom ring, Riddle’s knocked it out of the park. The process was incredibly smooth. Jasmine and her team had all the best intentions and paid close attention to detail, quality, and our preferences. We also learned a lot, as Riddles was very open and ensured we understood everything.
