Maui Princess Check-in Booth — Attraction in Maui

The singer was the only bright moment of this excursion. He is great and if you go you have to make sure he sings the songs that he wrote he is very funny and should be on a comedy show or something. You would never believe it because the guy doesn't seem funny when you first meet him but he's hilarious. As for the rest of the tour it was very boring the food was mediocre and the captain of the ship was also the MC and he was so boring it was amazing. Not only that I tried to ask him a question and he cut me off and was very rude about it I don't understand how you can do that when there's so much money coming in also they will try to get you to give them a $50 tip after you've already spent so much money don't do it unless you feel it was worth it all I know is it was like getting a massage that you can't wait for it to be over. The ship that they show on the brochure is not the same ship if it is that was like 80 years ago very old and very stinky in the bathroom. I'm sorry to sound so negative but I would have rather gone out to a nice fine dining restaurant where there's a little bit of class. Personally I would not go on any of the expensive Excursion especially the luau out there really lame and I should know this because I lived in Hawaii for four years previously and always avoided these things because I heard they were scammed. Overall experience was decent. The atmosphere and staff were very kind and efficient at cleaning the tables. The food was decent, dessert was cheesecake and a bit warm and the salads croutons were soggy because they applied the dressing and let it sit before we even got on the boat but the fish was very good. I can’t stress this enough but although the singer seems very nice she was just not good. The captain and her both made some funny jokes though. I don’t regret going but if they fixed the place up and got a new singer it would fit the price better. Last but definitely not least they put a bunch of paper stuff on the table like your reservation and menu and with the wind some blow and go off the boat into the water. Mine did and it was just upsetting. They put a bread basket on top but then took it off halfway through while we were downstairs and we came up to it blowing off. They really need some Velcro...

The best part of this dinner cruise was the live music. He was very talented and sang some of his own, original music. The songs were great and some very funny. The food was also good.

Unfortunately, our cruise was a mess. The boat does not appear well cared for. Several times we were covered in exhaust from the boat while sailing, breathing diesel fumes even before we boarded. The crew was short, so we began late and meandered in front of the dock area until another employee could board. The employees worked their tails off trying to catch up.

The drinks were extremely on the light side. You are served one, then have to go up to get your second one.

Overall, our experience was one we do not care to repeat. We have been on several and I am sad to say, this was by far the worst one.
