ok here goes my sad story 4 days ago i took my 2010 audi tt in for new tires when i went in my audi there was no light on the dash for the tire pressure sensors, everything was fine with that, when i left there i drove for 30 min and the light on the dash was showing problems with the air pressure so i went back to the shop, they took it in again and checked it, they told me your sensors are old and need to be replaced, its almost 400 dollars, i told them that when the car came in they worked, I don't know what a coincidence, they told me your tires are fine, the pressure is correct, it's just the old sensors, i decided to buy them myself and come back later, when i came back they told me they couldn't replace parts that they didn't sell, of course they cost me 50 dollars for all four, i told the young man who helped me, how can i know if you didn't damage my sensors? He answered me, "I can't help you." Have a great day. I went to another shop to replace them, and indeed, inside one of the tires was a broken sensor and a part of the tire changer. I also attach photographs. To sell, the service is very good, but to respond, the guarantees are terrible. I would like someone to advise me because they made me spend money on parts and the cost of replacing them at an external workshop when it was their duty to correct their error. It's not fair. Technically they damaged parts of my vehicle and wanted me to pay for it, that's a scam.

Picked up a screw in my tire. I arrived about 10 minutes before opening on a Saturday and there was already a line out front. The front parking spots were full so I parked in back, where there was no line. They opened the back door first, so I got to the counter first, which was totally unfair, but I did it anyway, selfishly. $20 for the patch, took less than a half hour, out the door.

Wow, what a horrible experience! Went in today at 8:30 a.m. to have 4 tires swapped out. There were only 3 cars parked in the lot and about 3-4 cars in the bay. It was not busy. I went up to counter and "Jake" (who I later find out is the manager) "helped" me.

I told him I had 4 tires and needed them mounted. He asked where I got the tires and I told him Craigslist. He asked me how much I purchased them for (like it was any of his business). I told him $425. They were 16" Light truck Goodyear Kevlar (60k) mile with about 80% tread left. He said, next time, just buy new, I could have gave you 4 new tires (40k mile, not name brand) mounted and balanced for $526 (or whatever the amount was).

I told him that sounded cheap as the last tires I bought from Les Schwab were well over $800.00 for my truck. I told him thanks, maybe next time as I have already bought these tires. Almost like he was rubbing something in my face making me feel stupid for not buying his tires? I'm pretty sure the cheap ones he quoted me were not as high quality as the ones I had. He then printed me the invoice and it was almost $150.

Moving on, he wants to charge me $8 per tire for a " rebuild kit" for the stems. I asked if mine were broken or if I absolutely needed them. He said well, we generally just put new stuff on when we switch tires, etc. I told him if mine were fine and not broken to use mine (I'd rather save the $32). This caused him to have to go back into the invoice and delete the kits and re-print a new invoice, at which his face clearly reflected discontentment.

Here is where it gets bad! I waited for almost 2 hours. I watched customer after customer leave before me when they got there after me. Car after car pull up, get serviced and leave. I think Jake was trying to tell me if I don't buy his tires, this is what happens - - he will make you wait.

Finally, at 10:20 a.m. (almost 2 hours later) I pay the invoice. Now, I am waiting for my keys. After about 3-4 minutes, I see my truck being pull out of the bay - - and instead of doing what they have done for me 20 times over the last 20 years (I was a lifetime customer) they pulled my truck out back! I had no idea! I kept waiting and waiting, thinking the driver was going to circle the building and come back to the front and hand me the keys? Nope!

I finally walked to the back lot and there was my truck, sitting there locked. I go back inside and wait for another 2 minutes or so. Then I start looking around and see a young guy, at the counter, typing into the computer. I look closer and finally notice my keys are sitting next to him. I go up to him and I ask, are those my keys? He said I think so, smirked and said he is trying to find out the exact name of who's keys they are in the computer. The guy who just rang me up is sitting right there in the back of him! They knew the keys were mine - it was just another delay tactic. Wow, I'm never going to use Les Schwab again. Not for my vehicle, my kids' vehicles, my wife's vehicle, my trailers, etc. Use to be a great company -...

This place is a nightmare, unless you are comfortable handing blank checks to an auto shop. Les Schwab mounted tires on my Outback that rubbed the wheel well, easily fixed I figured, even after they quoted me $90/hr to adjust my suspension in order to make the tires fit (the tires they mounted and sent me home on). The inspection was fine and I made the appointment to have the work done. After dropping off the car for the appointment, they called to inform me the work would cost $140/hr, a 56% increase, for no discernible reason. I gave the name of the salesperson who gave me the original quote, and after some back and forth they agreed to honor the originally quoted $90/hr, making sure to express the fault by the salesman and tell me they were doing me a favor but that they should be charging more, which is pretty unprofessional but mostly just weird. I'm thinking "I just want my car fixed for the price you quoted me at." They still have my car at this point, and after agreeing to the originally quoted rate of service, the assistant manager Manny then proceeded to tell me they found an issue with my rear wheels that required almost $1000 worth of work, a job I told them I am more than capable of handling on my own. He decided that they would not do the work I had brought my car for, (with an appointment, following an inspection and a quote that they were reluctant to offer) without me committing to the additional $1000 job they added on. It was communicated poorly, the reasoning was wholly unconvincing and it's a shame that they were too lazy to make an effort at decent customer service. If you have to talk negatively about a salesperson in order to justify quoting me 56% more and reluctantly honoring my original quote, I already want to take my car somewhere else. Then add on $1000 worth of work and refuse to do the original job? What a joke. Needless to say I picked up my car and after two decades of bringing cars to Les Schwab, don't ever feel the need to give them my business again. On a positive note, the woman who helped me at the counter, I believe her name is Anita, was incredibly friendly and thorough, she...

I've been to this particular store quite a few times in the last a couple months for various reasons with my 2000 Chrysler Town and Country minivan . About a week and a half ago I took my van in there and ask them for a road trip check I had just recently got my struts Brakes and Tires replaced and I wanted to make sure that all was fine per visual inspection and that there was nothing wrong because it was acting funny. I inform them that I was worried about my tie rods my bushings my bearings and my ball joints specifically .I'm not going to name names but the person who has dealt with me quite a few times was the one who took my car for inspection. he brought it back to me said that he wasn't feeling any clunking or anything like that and that everything looked fine. Then again try to inform him that there was Major clicking coming from underneath and that the steering had a lot of play and once again informed him of my concerns and he then again reassured me that everything looked perfectly fine. well later on that day I was going to pick up my husband and as I suspected there was definitely something wrong. my ball joints (yes both)were completely shot the bushings around them were completely destroyed!!!! There's absolutely no way that that would have been missed especially not to the degree that they were worn. either way my tired tier nearly came off!!! I was inches away from what could have been a fatal accident with a semi truck!!!!! All I have to say is just because you're in the ghetto part of town doesn't mean that you have to treat everybody like their ghetto!!!! You Know Who You Are and hopefully management sees this I can prevent this from happening ever again me and my children could have died hope you can sleep...
