Update 09/15/23 (see 2nd and 3rd photos for reference) we came in happy and left disappointed. The beginning was ok. we were seated right away. The server got us water and was able to order right away. I ordered The Farmhand with Obrien potatoes with white toast and extra jam. I was surprised when our order came out quickly, which i didn't mind given the fact that i was also running late to work. but after about 3 bites, i noticed under my eggs that i was given hashbrowns instead of Obrien potatoes, there are some raw mushrooms in my Farmhand, my toasts are burnt and i didn't get my extra jam. I mean, 1 mistake is fine, but that was just too many to ignore to not leave this review. normally, i will tell the server to hopefully get the mistakes fixed, but like i said, i was already running late for work and don't have time to wait for another one to come out. i love this place, but i have to retract one star after this visit. we hope to have a better visit next time, hopefully with fewer issues with our food. .....
We went here yesterday morning when they opened and we were greeted by a nice lady. They have a really big menu, but eventually, we ordered the Farmhand, which was very delicious by the way and the Waffles with sausage. I thought that the order of waffles would come with something else, but just like the name, it was just the waffles and 2 sausage links. It was still good. Just thought that for the price, it would at least come with some eggs. But all in all, the experience was great. The Farmland really got me full pretty much the whole day. And the service was great. Even though the lady was by herself (besides the cook), she seemed to be managing the front of the house very well. Will come back again and try their...

My family went in for breakfast this morning. It's tucked in the corner of an aging strip mall in the heart of Southcenter. And while the exterior looks a bit rough, the interior is clean and bright and inviting. It was pretty packed but we were fortunate enough to get seated immediately. The menu has so many breakfast options. I had Eggs Benedict w Crab.. very good! My wife enjoyed her Biscuits and Gravy, my youngest had a massive Breakfast Sandwich w Sausage and my eldest had French toast. Then we decided to share the Banana's Foster Pancakes. The portions for each of us were more than we could eat. Too bad they don't do half-portions; next time we may order half as much and share. Everyone enjoyed their meal, though. I especially like that they have real fresh-squeezed orange juice. The service was so good... sat immediately, water was brought immediately and drinks were ordered, drinks were brought quickly and order taken, food was brought in a very reasonable amount of time (especially given all we ordered), and the table was bussed timely. All the staff was courteous, with smiles...never felt rushed. All this with a packed house. The meal, with five breakfast entrees and four drinks came to $100. It seemed expensive but the portions were so big we were leaving with four takeout boxes. With the food, service, and atmosphere, I agree it was worth it. We will definitely be going to Patty's...
Read morePatty's Eggnest - Is a very popular family restaurant. It has received many awards. So, I ask you, why would they select such a small place to open such a restaurant? The picture I posted shows all the tables except 3 or 4 off camera. Sundays - this place gets very crowded. I mention only Sunday because that's when I am in the area. So, if you choose Sundays come early or be prepared to wait. I ordered the country sausage and eggs breakfast, with a biscuit, and fresh fruit. They were reasonably fast with getting the order out to me. The sausage and biscuit was great, though the country sausage was performed like it came out of a giant link sausage. Nothing wrong with the taste, like I said it was great. I ordered my eggs over hard. When I received them they looked ok, but the first bite made me look on the other side. They were scorched. Not bad nor uneditable. But not up to the reputation of Patty's. The fruit was just melon chunks, honeydew and cantaloupe. The fruit was green and had been frozen - and they were not completely thawed. This time of year with all the fresh fruits on the market, this was not what I expected. Maybe the area of the refrigerator where the fruit was stored overnight was colder than it should have been. Balancing the customer's demand for the fruit against the shelflife of fresh fruit can be tricky, but I would have thought Patty's would have the skills to provide fresh fruit, not half frozen...
