Update: They did provide a full refund minus that night we spent there and the day we spent waiting for them to make a decision. But I would still please stay away from this property at all cost. We got here on 12/18 along with our 12 month old baby. Here are the reasons you should STAY AWAY!: THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT LUXURY!! The owner doesn't not care that we had to sleep in a freezing apartment with our infant. We were forced to sleep with our baby between us because of the extremely low temperatures in the apartment. We had to cover his body while trying to sleep ourselves and ensure his head never gets covered. The lack of heating made the place inhabitable and was a health and safety violation. Instead of providing a refund and sending us on our way, he refuses to accept any accountability for not providing what's advertised. Equivalent to defrauding hardworking people of their hard earned money. He is trying to force us to stay in the freezing apartment with our 12 month old by offering space heaters, another hazard given that we have a toddler. 1). Other folks have spoken about pest infestations which include bed bugs. If you are one of the unlucky ones, they will travel back to your house and cost a whole lot. 3). The air conditioning does not work properly and the heat did not work. Per the weather forecast, there was a cold front that took the weather down to about 40 F which is pretty cold, especially for a 12 month old. The front desk person tried to turn it on but noted that it indeed was not functioning and we were forced to sleep in an extremely cold apartment with a baby. Maintenance guy came up with the manager the next day and said they needed to get an expert to fix it. Still no heat at that time. It's 1:44pm the next day and there is still no heat. 2). I work remotely and realized that there is no secure WiFi network available. The network name that they provide does not exist, they blame it on a storm that never happened and refer you to an insecure network. 3). The master bedroom smells unclean and moldy. With damaged walls that were filled with putty to get ready for the next victim. 4). The furniture and appliances are super dated, e.g., the washer and dryer are from the 1990s. The same is true for the furniture and the 32" old television that keeps flickering when on. 5). The kitchen faucet is gross and the joint is cover with mildew/mold. The pictures are attached. 6). The walls are paper thin and damaged. There are scrapes and dirt on the walls that have not been painted or cleaned in a very long time. 7). The refrigerator is as dated as the washer/dryer with the filter door on the bottom sticking out. Pictures also attached too. 8). Rocking and chipped glass coffee table. With a 12 month old, a chipped glass coffee table is a hazard. My wife cut her leg on this table. 9). There is a dining table that's also rocking and is hardly practical for use. 10). I seriously can't believe they have 1 television from the late 90s in the living room of a 2 bedroom rental. The property was not as advertised. When a property is marketed in a certain manner, guests reasonably expect the described conditions to be accurate- this constitutedls false representation. BEWARE!

I booked my reservation through Marriot homes and villas and one of their employees, Diana, threatened to cancel my reservation in which my payment was made in full. I encountered unprofessional behavior from an employee named Diana, despite providing all necessary information upon making the reservation. I was threatened to have my reservation canceled because I have a local number (Miami) and I may cause "issues" at your compound such as having unwarranted parties. I was also questioned on the reason why I was renting the unit and my purpose for being in Miami. This employee communication towards me was not cordial but rather disrespectful in tone and rude. The employee's behavior was alarming for several reasons: Unwarranted Assumptions: The employee seemed to suspect that I intended to use the reservation for a party simply because I have a local phone number. This assumption was not only unfounded but also discriminatory. I had not mentioned any party plans, and there was no basis for such an assumption. Threats to Cancel Reservation: The employee went so far as to threaten to cancel my reservation based on her baseless suspicion. This threat was made without any discussion or clarification, which left me feeling unfairly targeted and disrespected. Rude Communication: Throughout the interaction, the employee's tone was consistently rude and dismissive. This lack of professionalism made the experience quite distressing and frustrating. I trust that Roami values all its customers and upholds high standards of professionalism and respect. This incident has unfortunately affected my perception of the establishment. I reached out to Ashley Banks but no response.

Should have adhered to some of the reviews! Upon entering our room, I was tired and overwhelmed. Condo wasn't as bad as it could have been but far from as advertised. Pool's closed for renovations, hopefully to reopen tomorrow. I believe I saw that complaint in someone else's review. Our walls were damaged in the entry and throughout. There was a towel on the toilet, appeared used, there is hair all in the shower, floor, walls, step in. The stove top has something that had been caked on it, the dishes weren't clean and immediately went into the dishwasher. Bed linen has hair. Pillout Couch didn't sit terribly. After lysol in the bed and pillows, went to pull the couch out to make it, broken. As someone posted about recently and a manager replied that their complaint was dated and the matters addressed. Incorrect. At least for us. It's almost 2am. Shortly before midnight I mentioned to the concierge staff the hair and requested having housekeeping coming by in the morning. One was totally uninterested. The other @ Ieast entertained my concern. I don't think we'll make it our entire stay. Keep searching. Deep sigh.

I’ve had several week long stays with Habitat Brickell by Sextant Tower 1. If the regular luxuries of a hotel aren’t important to you, you’ll be comfortable here. The staff members are friendly, and professional, pricing is quite competitive for the area, they offer secure valet, a pool, small gym, and business area. All of the units could use redecorating, but they keep them tidy. When I’m on a business trip that’s more than a couple of days, I prefer accommodations that give me access to a full kitchen, and Habitat Brickell’s apartment Style 1/2/3 bedroom accommodations give you access to all the basic amenities of home. You’ll even get to enjoy a nice view from the penthouse level’s lounge area. You’ll only be a few minutes walk from everything Brickell has to offer; so traveling alone or with family, you’ll surely have a pleasant stay at Habitat Brickell by Sextant.
