I want to preface this by saying that my fiance and I have been fans of Card N All's New Cut location for some time and were very excited to get to make a purchase we have been considering for a while with a local business that we love supporting. A couple of weeks ago, we went to the Shelbyville Road location to purchase a PS5. We had had some issues with online ShopPay and had to go in person to cancel the ShopPay order and make the purchase using a credit card instead. From the moment we entered, the employee that we were working with treated us like the biggest inconvenience ever. This was at 5:00 p.m. on a rather not busy Monday and he kept repeating how he was not awake enough to be dealing with us. We were apologizing profusely because we knew that canceling an order and having to update stock so that we could purchase it again was rather annoying, but despite this he kept asking us why we had to come in today of all days. When we finished sorting out the issue and began the process of making our purchase, he let us go pick out any accessories or games that we wanted to get while we were there. When I made the comment that we were going to be getting Baldur's Gate 3, he literally slammed his head on the desk and groaned in frustration because I was dumb enough to not realize that Baldurs Gate did not have a physical copy as of yet. Throughout the whole transaction, he made me feel like I was a dumb gamer girl who had no idea what was going on for not knowing this information about a game on a system that I have never owned and having questions throughout purchasing. My fiance and I will not be returning to this location until staffing changes have been made or staff have been trained in customer service and not isolating their female gamer base. I still thoroughly support the New Cut location but I'm sadly disappointed about the environment at...
Read moreI thought the place would be pretty cool to sell some Pokémon cards to. Not the case at all. First off, the employee was too busy putting things on the shelves and took about 5-10ish minutes to even get with me. Next, I give them the cards, and they finally tell me they could offer $16 cash for the 10 cards I provided. I have sold the same cards at other card stores in the same quantity (10) for $50+. Insane low ballers here. After I rejected politely, cashier said, “well good luck selling these because they’re all in pretty terrible condition anyways!” With a scoff… Awful service and I am not one to even leave bad reviews but come on… if someone doesn’t take your offer, don’t be rude and petty. Some people know the value of the product. Didn’t even tell me to have a good day, let me leave without saying a word. I would not recommend coming here, or selling here....
Read moreThe owner didn't update the hours for the new location on Google (but apparently did on Facebook, not everyone checks Facebook). I drove an hour to the shop and they told me the new location changed it's hours to 1pm - 9pm. I had to wait until 1:45 for someone to show up, four other people showed up, they waited to get in as well. Then I was told despite placing an order (at this location in April) for a new box set being released today, they didn't have any delivered to the new location. So I had to wait 45 more minutes until the owner showed up with the product. You'd think that on a release day for a popular card game, they would be stocked already and have customer orders on hand. I hate to write a bad review for a TCG store but I should have gone to Through the Decades, I have never had a...
