McCarthy Ranch Marketplace — Attraction in Milpitas

I used to only have bad thoughts about this place. Now that the Asian hotel deal fell through New stores are coming in. Big Al's a Dave & Buster's type venue opened. Bars, several food areas, drinks, games, pool, and small bowling area (about 10 Lanes). HUGE TV screens. Nice but games are expensive. Food is good. New Sporting Goods store also... Forgot the name but geared a lot towards hunting it seems. Be warned! Dead animal trophy heads all over the walls. Lots of other stuff too though. Big new Indian restaurant opened but I haven't tried it yet.... I'll let you know. Ross as usual ... Nice stuff but terrible service. This seems to cover Ross in general... Not just this location. Big Super Walmart... What can you say... It's Walmart. Good Best Buy, Michael's, Wells Fargo, very busy but good In & Out, Ashley Furniture Furniture seems to have gone down hill. Macaroni grill was good tasty food, good service but can't hold a candle too real Italian home-made sauce. Dish Dash Mediterrean very good... Try it! Considering I'm a former geek and I like to look at the shiny things and so do my almost-adult, and my young-adult, AND those two go through headphones at a completely unreasonable and unbelievable rate (thank you protection plan!!!!); we have been to a LOT of Best Buy stores over the years. Out of all of the Best Buy stores I have been to I have to say this one is my favorite. The customer service is exemplary. The staff has gone out of their way on numerous occasions to fix or resolve whatever issues we've had. Considering Best Buys antiquated software system...... We've had an awful lot of issues to resolve. They have done a remarkable job each and every time. I would happily drive out of my way to come to this Best Buy rather than any of the others in...

I went to Ashley HomeStore. Beautiful showroom!! When I entered, I was pleasantly surprised at the vast amount of furnishings they have. I was also greeted upon entry by a Sales person named Isaiah. Very polite, professional and courteous. He took care in explaining the Manager's Special but most importantly, he allowed me to look around without any unnecessary pressure. I also appreciate the fact that it wasn't overly busy at all and the parking was great too. Beautiful furniture and lot's of great selections. You must visit this showroom if you're looking to upgrade your furniture. Still on the fence about what I'm looking for but this is definitely the best place to start.
