This Square was a highlight of our trip to Milwaukee from Madison last night. The holiday decorations were outstanding! There were many festive decorations with seats where you could have photos taken of groups or solo. There was even a huge Season's Greetings picture frame where you could have your photo taken (great idea for a photo Christmas card!). The entire atmosphere was conducive to meeting others & getting into the Christmas spirit while taking photos of one another & chatting about the other locations in which to see holiday lights. Will definitely be telling friends about this lovely Square!

Ziedler Union Square is a fantastic quaint urban park. It’s loud due to traffic of a downtown core but still peaceful. There is an incredible amount of shade due to tree lines and a wide variety of benches and picnic tables. Portapotties were on-site when we were. The gazebo has 4 outlets for power. There are bus stops, bike-share options, and street parking at this park.

Little park. Has a Bublr station, a historical marker and a gazebo. A couple of paths and a few park benches round it out. The park gets decorated for the holiday season; Christmas trees, globes, lights, and presents... might be good for a few glowing nighttime pictures.

If the city ever cuts down the beautiful old and majestic trees in this park, it will be a travesty. In the summertime, this little tiny park which is devoted to labor and Milwaukee's beloved Socialist mayor is popular with city dwellers who have dogs, farmer's market on Wednesdays and the homeless.

In the winter, giant light displays that have not changes in 30 years are placed in the exact same spots.

Nestled between WE Energies buildings, the Boston Store headquarters (and the Grand Ave mall) and the converted office building to apartments called "The Buckler" -- it's a nice spot if not neglected in spots. Occasionally area headquarters have their company picnics there even if the land is uneven and power is negligible. Overall, it's a cute park that could use better urban planning or a...

I always enjoy stopping by the Westown Farmer’s Market on my lunch breaks Wednesday afternoons in the summer. Whether you’re looking for lunch itself, fresh produce, or canned goods, Westown has a solid variety.

There are usually at least half a dozen food trucks lined up along the park, and other vendors if you want to purchase lunch at the market. There are another half dozen plus vendors for fresh produce, flowers, and other such things. For a lunchtime downtown weekday farmer’s market, I would say there is a nice variety of seasonal vegetables usually available, and the prices are good. Other stands with baked goods and crafts are also present.

If you have a half an hour to spare on your lunch break and you work downtown, I would recommend stopping by. Sometimes you'll even...
