Pho Spot MKE — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Did not end up eating here as it would be a 50 mins total wait: 10 mins before you can order for them to catch up with previous orders and another 40 mins wait for the food. Problem is that they do not tell you how long the wait would be until people complained. Wasted too much time here when my kid had a competition to go to with a tight schedule. Not good.

Update: got reply from the owner. Just to be clear: it is not the wait that is frustrating, it is the lack of transparency on how long it would be after being asked to wait for 10 mins just to starting order. I asked multiple times how long it would be from order to getting the food. No answer until other customers that already had orders in 40 mins ago stopped by to complain about how long their wait has been. I could have wasted an hour here if I did not pay attention to this. I would have appreciated if I were told total wait could be 50 mins vs. being told to wait 10...

This place is still new and this review is solely from experience. Ordered the shrimp vermicelli ($14! Take a look at the photo attached and see for yourself if that’s fair) for takeout and was not impressed with the service or the meal. The noodles were not fairly portioned and it was also missing the pickled carrots and radish also for that price it should come with an egg roll (how it’s traditionally served ~ even at other restaurants) It felt like eating an appetizer and feeling like you’re still hungry after. With their service, when you give them your phone number, they should send you an alert once your order is ready. Unfortunately that was missed by their team because we were waiting passed a half hour just to find out that it was sitting on the counter all this time.. we were also sitting at a fair distance from their counter and to not be acknowledged was fairly...

I had low expectations for the pho here and found myself delightfully surprised. Generous portions of meat, tendon, and tripe. If you order the oxtail pho, you're getting a tender, fall off the bone oxtail. If you order the pho beef rib, you're getting a hunky beef rib. I was worried the price wouldn't be worth it, but it definitely is!

The best compliment you can give to pho is to not have to add a whole lot of condiments to the Broth and I hardly had to add anything. Just a dash of lime to brighten and hot chili garlic oil to turn up the heat and it was perfect! No need for hoisin, etc.

The customer service was also 👌. You can tell they're working hard and efficiently to feed you something fresh and hearty. They'll text you when your order is up so you have time to look around or rest your feet. I will...
