Needs some serious TLC. Here is an idea open the tower more than one day a year and take the money to rehab the park. They could probably make $1000 every weekend the tower is open. I think that is a conservative guess too. Here is a mini list to improve the park: Repair the trail and rail going down the east side Repair the blacktop path or install something with a lower grade so this is more accessible to everyone Repair the wooden steps Repair the water fountain that is like a giant bird toilet Repair the tennis courts that look like there were high by an earthquake Repair the base around the tower with some concrete. I often watch the sunset here. On any nice summer nights, lots of couples, dog walkers, and groups of friends come to do the same. Can hear the light rail train below.
