This park is so beautiful and fun to walk around in. It is well-kept, clean and lovely. It has multiple signs that say no pets, which was a draw for me because I am allergic and also enjoy the peacefulness of spaces where pets aren't allowed to bark/run/destroy the wildlife vegetation and I don't have to worry about stepping in waste. I live close-by to this park and walk past it nearly every day. Each time without fail there is someone with an off-leash dog running through this park (especially in front of the courthouse), a person walking their dog in the grassy areas (or paved), or a dog barking at someone/another dog in the park aggressively. There are signs that say not to do this, but the people of the area feel entitled to ignore the rules. I see dogs urinating and pooping in the grass, and when I see people having a romantic picnic in the park and sitting on the grass I always cringe a little because I know someone's dog has illegally used the bathroom there.
I know that people who allow their dogs here do not care, or else they wouldn't do it. However, it is very irresponsible and inconsiderate behavior and ruins it for those who want to enjoy public spaces without dogs and all that...
