My recent visit to this store left me deeply disappointed and disheartened. Seeking to reconnect with my faith, I ventured to this store to purchase a Bible. What ensued was a stark contrast in treatment based on the color of my skin.

Upon entering, I observed my wife and child, who are light-skinned, receiving a warm welcome and assistance. However, as a person of color, I was met with indifference. No one greeted me or offered to help while I struggled to find the right Bible for my spiritual journey. Instead, I felt ignored and judged, as staff members conspicuously rearranged shelves nearby, seemingly to monitor me, which made me uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Despite this treatment, I persisted in my purpose and purchased the Bible I needed. Nevertheless, I cannot recommend this store to others, particularly people of color. My experience here was not just about acquiring a book; it was about respect, dignity, and inclusivity, qualities that were regrettably absent during my visit.

My husband and I went and got new Bibles for the family and a few extra things. My daughter is 16 and has a learning disability and the young lady pulled out several options I ended up buying her 2.
