Cracker Barrel Old Country Store — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

ATTENTION! My Mom and I went today 05-20-2023 for Brunch about 10 or 11 our waitress was not a Happy Person today she didn't offer us anything until she seen me chatting to the Manager. But anyways im waiting for our meal and I seen the Floor Mang. (The lady that tells hostess what tables are available) I seen her Wiping her Nose with her hand and then went to clean a table without washing her hands!😳 Then she had a towel in her hand that she was cleaning tables with My mom and I watched her clean 8 tables with the Same towel no rinsing it inbetween tables, No sanitizer spray Nothing she never left the floor..Now by this time I could not finish my food,😵 so I went to front and asked to see a Manager, she came and I told her the problem that my mom and I had just witnessed, with Covid still here and other bad germs what could happen when this kind of contamination was going on 😳🤯The Manager said she would check into it thats all she said, seriously yes please do ty .. I went to check out, and I even told Mr. Paul at the register about the issue. Because again it was just totally gross to me. My mom and I went to the restroom before leaving. This same Manager Met My mom and I coming out of the restroom, and asked did I get my ticket?, she had it In her hand. I said yes I already paid." She asked did I get my receipt I said no I don't ever get one. This Manager literally walked over a little from restroom area and Yelled yep I said it right YELLED over to Paul asking if he had waited on me. I was then Embarrassed Thank You very much Manager Lady! 🥸🥸 I will never return to this store again, But if you do please look for clean hands, and true clean tables PUNT INTENDED!, Cracker Barrel needs a serious Manager and employee...

I went to Cracker Barrel 10/2/23.I got there around 9:15 pm.The lady took me to a table.,so I'm there waiting for someone to come and take my order. I waited about 25 min,before a customer ,( A real nice lady) saw me waiting .She came up to me, and said she was going to find someone to take my order.By the way there was only 3 couples in the restaurant at the time.She got a waitress and told her what was going on..The waitress came to me,and said, the lady seated me in the wrong section.The section I was seated in,the waitress was gone for the night.So all the other servers walked passed me like I was invisible.Some of my food was cold.I wasn't offer any bread for my meal.I had to ask for some corn bread..The lady bought out 3 corn muffin ,One of the corn muffin looked like someone took a bite out the bottom.the dumpling was cold,The lady said she was bringing out some gravy,I waited 10 min,and asked her about the gravy,then she said they was out. This was my second time going here in 1 month.I had a bad experience on a take out order. I called and ordered my food on the phone.They said it woukd be ready in 20 min.So I drove there 30 min later to pick it up.The lady said its coming right up..But I still didn't get it,Then a manager comes out and try to figure out what's going on.They were trying to put the blame on the lady at the cash register.She pulled up my order on her end and showed the manager ,So I had to wait another 45 min until I got my food. hHad a wonderful dinner with my husband at this restaurant tonight. The food, as always, is exceptional and looks and tastes like it came out of Mom‘s kitchen.

Want to bring attention to two amazing staff members: first, to Kendra, our waitress. She was exceptional and very attentive to our needs. Her smile lit up the room and appreciated so much the time and attention she gave us. She will go far in anything in life she wants to achieve.

Also want to give a shout out to the store manager, Keith. When we called on him to put in a good word for our waitress, as busy as he must be, he took a few minutes to spend some time talking to my husband and myself. The fact that he has worked at Cracker Barrel at various locations for the past 24 years speaks highly of Cracker Barrel. Can highly recommend this Cracker Barrel location and commend Keith for doing such an excellent job and Cracker Barrel for hiring exceptional employees like Keith and Kendra. You both are so important. They personify the image of making Cracker Barrel a place to enjoy a good meal. thank you both, so much!

Right now the news is telling how Cracker Barrel was going to change it sign and it’s decor. Keith informed us this evening. They decided not to change the sign. We hope others will give a kind voice to let Cracker Barrel know we do not want changes made inside either.
