Star Lash Studio — Attraction in Murray

I had the worse experienced in Murry location, If I could give a 0 stars I would. (having my 1st ever eyelash lift being excited to having the worst experience) I went to south town mall with my friend to do a lash lift in star lash on oct. 24 but after my appointment my husband notice that my lashes looks the same and it didn't curl at all so I called same night to let them my lashes still looks the same.(I paid $60+20 tip and my lashes still looks the same) the manager then told me they will fix it for me but they will have to schedule me in Murry location on Oct. 27th. I came to the salon and the girl who supposed to "fix" my lashes was so confused because she said she can't fix my lashes because its lash lift and if she put perm on my lashes it will fall out. she offered me to do a classic look fake lashes and I said No as I only want my lashes to be lifted. so she told me she will schedule me to come back Nov. 22 enough time for my lashes to be curled again without damaging my lashes. I went on my vacation outside the country and came back very sick. so I called the Murry location and the guy I spoke to I explained that I need to reschedule my appointment as I was very sick and don't want anyone to get sick. he then said OK I'll schedule you Dec. 7 11am. Then Nov. 22 came and I had a phone call from the same guy asking me if I am coming for my appointment which I'm very confused because I just reschedule my appointment with him. Dec. 6 he called me again confirming my appointment dec. 7 11am and I said yes. December 7 at 10am He is calling me saying my appointment is at 10am. so at this time I'm a little irritated as why is he so bad in communicating. I then explained that he called me the day before saying my appointment is at 11am. then he said they don't have anything available at 11am but have availability 4pm and that will be $50. and I was so shocked when he told me I had to pay again. like why would I pay when my schedule is supposed to be for them to "fix" my lashes. he gave me the attitude saying I was given a false information etc. etc when all this time he is the only person who always spoke to me. ( meaning he is the one who gave me the wrong information) how can you ask me to pay again when you haven't even corrected what you did wrong on the 1st place. but this guy was very rude keeps interrupting me and won't let me even talk. he even said because you missed your appointment on NOV. 22- which I told him again I called to reschedule because I'm sick and he said well you didn't show up. so yeah you need to pay again. so I was like so you mean to say its ok for me to come in make everybody sick so that I wouldn't missed my appointment when in the 1st place I called to reschedule the appointment. and he said YEAH YOU DIDN'T SHOW UP. after he said that I asked for his manager and he was like UGH, OH MY GOSH MY MANAGER IS GOING TO SAY THE SAME THING TO YOU! He had the worst attitude and No manners for a customer service agent and should never work for a place like this. the Owner should know having a person like this work for you will make you lose a lot of customers. because the front agent is the face of your company and is the one representing you but if you have a person with this kind of attitude its bad for...

I’ve been getting my lashes done for six years and have never had an experience as upsetting as this one.

I went in for a routine fill, but things went wrong from the very beginning. As soon as the gel pads and tape were placed under my eyes, I felt a sharp, painful sensation in my left eye, like a paper cut. I immediately asked the lash tech to adjust it. She seemed irritated and only lifted one corner before putting it back in the exact same spot. I had to ask multiple times for her to reposition it until it was tolerable.

Once she began applying the extensions, the discomfort worsened. Her hands were heavy, pressing down on my eyes in a way that made it very uncomfortable. Not long after, I started to feel a strong, burning pain in my left eye. I voiced my concerns, but she repeatedly told me it looked fine. When I finally asked for a mirror, I was shocked to see that the entire lower half of my left eye was bright red and bloodshot.

She advised me to use a fan to ease the burning, but after ten minutes, the pain was still intense. She then consulted a coworker, who suggested putting in an eye drop. When I asked what it was, she couldn’t give a clear answer, only that it came in a single-use vial. With the pain I was in, I wasn’t comfortable putting an unidentified drop in my eye.

She told me the reaction was likely due to sensitivity to the gel pad and that the irritation should subside by the next day. She also offered to have me return the following week to finish the lash service. However, the next day, the pain was even worse. I ended up going to urgent care, where the doctor found abrasions in my actual eye caused by the tape. I was prescribed antibiotic and steroid drops and had to endure nearly a week of pain before things improved.

To make matters worse, the lash application itself was poor. The extensions weren’t isolated properly, so every time one fell out, it took multiple natural lashes with it. Sometimes three or four at a time. I now have noticeable bald spots and broken natural lashes. My lash health has never been in worse condition.

I have been more than happy every. single. time I've had my lashes done by Star Lash. Best lash artists, best products, comfy setting, confident knowledgable staff....I honestly can't say enough good things! I have and will tell anyone to use any one of the amazing women there!!!
