I was really upset on the service and handling of our table, that I immediately had to post this. Several issues here at the Hard Rock Cafe Myrtle Beach location occurred and it's extremely unfortunate. We were seated at our table and noticed that we didn't receive any silverware and had to notify our server. A small apology was mentioned for the mistake. Then we order a few items. The twisted Mac and cheese was not prepared the way we requested, that is without red peppers.... Instead it included hot red pepper flakes. If this was an error on the kitchen then it's on them, if the server knew I was having the red pepper removed I would hope that he would be a little aware of the red pepper flakes contained in the dish that made it spicy and zesty. Not what I wanted. Also, my wife ordered a ceasar salad with chicken and had to turn her dish away due to the croutons tasting like rotten fish. When our server came to us we told him of our concerns and he did offer to remake the pasta. I didn't want to wait the 15 minutes he said it would take. He did not ask if I would like anything else, and he didn't bother asking me if I would like a menu. We said we'll just take a burger and he didn't ask me what kind of burger or how I would like it cooked. It wasn't till 5 minutes later he checked in on us and that was because we had to stop him and ask how they planned on making the burger. He said they were going to make it well done. I told him to just forget it and that I did't want to have to wait any longer and to just take our check for my daughter's two meals and appetizer. There was a minimal apology, little to no sincerity and almost robot like. No discount or deduction of the appetizer. Extremely disappointed so much that this might be the longest review I've ever done for a place and it's unfortunate that it's a negative one. I usually post nothing but positive reviews. We really miss the old Hard Rock, and won't be returning to...
Read moreI really try not to be a negative person. My family and I were probably some of the first people that ever walked through the doors in 1995 at the Hard Rock in MB S.C. Jump forward to 2025 . Out of fun we decided let’s take the grandkids to HR . So I called ahead made reservations for 14 people and was told we might have to separate you at two tables which should be side-by-side, fine no problem. Reservations at 7:30. We got there around 7:20 . The host was super rude right off the bat !! After about a 20 minute wait we were taking inside walking past large empty tables , go upstairs to an isolated basically a hallway where we were sat at four separate tables in front of each other. The whole entire family was at their own tables. 4 families , 4 tables. We couldn’t even talk to each other. Then we were told we’d have two waitresses, but because we were a “large group “ they were charge gratuity automatically . I don’t have a problem with that . I mean, just to let you know you’re gonna get less than what I would’ve gave you . The fact that we were at four separate tables and were charged as a “large group “ Something about that’s just not right !! Not to mention for the price the food it was just mediocre to say the least !! And I’d like to say the ambience was great, but since we literally was sitting in a hallway where people were literally coming and standing in our tables to look at the memorabilia on the wall while we were eating was somewhat weird !! I guess the moral of this whole story is don’t expect the same great experience and respect and food 30...
Read moreMy husband and I chose to eat here while on vacation because neither of us had eaten here before. Highly disappointed is an understatement. We wanted memorabilia of our experience so we opted to purchase glasses with our cocktails. My husband ordered the rhythm and Rose cocktail because it advertised it was served in a mule cup. He doesn't even drink the ingredients used for that particular drink, but he really wanted the mule. It took 20 minutes to be served our beverages and his drink came in a hurricane glass. Our server tells us the drink doesn't actually come in a mule. So, why is it advertised in the menu IN A MULE? My husband paid almost $20 for a drink he didn't like and still didn't get the cup he wanted! Our waiter seems annoyed when we complained and stated we probably couldn't be reimbursed but my husband didn't want to be a bother so he kept it. Also,we had waited a good while to be served our drinks. Then, it took another 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Mind you, it was 5 pm so they weren't busy at all. Our server even admitted to being neglectful of us! I had high expectations of this place because of the hype surrounding it, but feel as though I could've had a much better dining experience elsewhere...especially for the $90 we spent!
