Captain Hook Adventures Golf: A Family Fun Experience
My family, including my wife, ten-year-old son, and I, recently had the pleasure of visiting Captain Hook Adventures Golf. We embarked on a journey through both of their whimsically designed courses, which provided a delightful and engaging experience for all of us. The thematic elements and imaginative course designs ensured that our adventure was not just a round of golf but a memorable outing filled with fun.
However, our experience was not without its drawbacks. The absence of staff supervision on the courses led to some disruptions in the flow of play. We encountered individuals taking liberties with the rules, including playing multiple rounds consecutively without consideration for those waiting. A notable instance involved a wait of nearly ten minutes as a woman and her two boys played through the courses three times in succession. This lack of regulation detracted from our overall enjoyment, as it caused unnecessary delays and confusion.
In conclusion, Captain Hook Adventures Golf offers a fantastic and fun-filled adventure for families and golf enthusiasts alike. The courses are engaging and provide an excellent setting for family bonding. Nonetheless, the experience could be significantly enhanced by the presence of staff to oversee play and ensure that all guests adhere to a fair and orderly sequence, allowing everyone to enjoy their adventure without undue...

Most of the time when I drive by this place, it always looks closed, so I think it must be a seasonal operation. On my most recent visit, it was open so I took the chance and played at this place for the first time ever!
As the name of the business implies, this establishment is based around the Peter Pan story, but not necessarily the Disney adaptation from 1953. There are two courses to choose from, and I chose the Captain Hook course, so I will have to come back later and play The Lost boys course. I don't remember exactly what the price of this place was, but I remember it being at least $10 per person per course.
All sorts of different elements from the Peter Pan mythos are located here, including a statue of the infamous crocodile, a talking animatronic of Peter Pan himself, and even a kidnapped, bound and gagged Tiger Lily; some of these may only be seen on one course though.
This establishment has an impressive number of cavern themed holes! There was also one hole near the top of the mountain on the Captain Hook course that had a sort of Skee-Ball setup!
If that still wasn't enough for you, there are also excerpts from the actual original novel posted every couple of holes or so!
I can't wait to come back here and play the...
Read moreHad an awesome time!! Very impressed with this mini golf course. We played both 18 hole courses. It was not busy at all in the middle of a Thursday in August. Only two or three other parties were there at the same time as us.
Pros: Theme was consistent Everything was well marked, from yellow-paint-lined steps to course name and hole number on every hole Stories from the theme on placards to read along the way The Lost Boys course was accessible, with cutout spaces from the edge of the green at the end of each hole and ramps where there were changes in elevation. Very nicely done! Slight risk of losing a ball through the openings but awesome that they put the effort in to make a course accessible for all which more than makes up for that! Really clean and well kept Pricing! For $13.50 (not including tax) per person you can play both courses Lots of caves and trees where you can get a break from the sun Lots of (themed) trash cans along the way The course was kept in pristine condition The water features made a lot of noise which actually felt like it provides more privacy, you didn't hear other people on the course talking and they wouldn't hear you most of the time There were some interesting layouts for the greens
Cons: The website didn't make it obvious what the prices were. Didn't know until...
