I just stay three weeks ago with my family. I invited my dad, my oldest daughter, her boyfriend, my twin sister and her boyfriend and brought my two youngest children age 15 and 13. We all fitted in this condo perfectly. There is two bathrooms and two private balconies. The room was decorated with a beach theme in mind as the decor was exceptional. You can tell whom ever owns this condo takes pride in the maintenance as everything was top of the line.
We stay in room 1130 and read the reviews about this room before our arrival. I couldn't picture what the room would actually be like but it was everything and more when I opened the door.
We took extra blankets, toiletries, and pillows as suggested and some extra pots and pans but those were not needed. The dishes are top of the line and the pots and pans were not burnt or sticky they were good to use.
The sand was the worst thing we had to deal with, my only suggestion would be to add a throw rug in the hallway at the entrance of the room to wipe your feet, and small throw rugs for beside the bed to wipe your feet before getting into bed. The sand was falling out of everything and there really isn't a whole lot that can be done about that.
I found out on the last day that this resort doesn't have anyone onsite, there is a building across the street for guest services but is only open during business hours. I found myself locked out of the bedroom's bathroom and when I went to guess services they were close, after a few minutes someone came to the door and explained that there wasn't anyone there that could help me. Maintenance is only available durning certain hours.
I will say the grounds were well kept free from garbage. The lawn-chairs were set up and taken down each day. I would suggest adding more information about the location of the ice machines as we didn't even know our building the Main building had one until the last day when we had to go to each floor looking for a luggage cart.
The reason I did not give this place a five star was because of the smoking that was going on around the pool area and on the balconies. Our room had a couple of signs saying that you would be immediately evicted if caught. There is no one on the premises to enforce these rules.
I will say I wouldn't mind staying again as long as I could get the same room 1130, next time I will have to try the Jacuzzi tub in the main...
Read moreThis place gets very crowded, they do not do a good job with keeping the pool area clean. No one watches for the pool wristbands so outsiders can easily come in. The pool is constantly overrun by disorderly aggressive patrons. You will not relax by the pool on any level with the constant screaming and canonball splashing happening. Seniors and people who want to get in the water and relax need to find another place to go. People hang their wet belongings from their balconies which are constantly dripping on to sunbathers and pool goers. People smoke in the pool area with no regard. There are no lifeguards. The grass area around the pool gets trimmed and manicured while pool goers are there, a face full of flying debris is quite possible. The facility itself has many flaws. The lobby by the elevators and the elevators all smell like urine and are not cleaned regularly. The other downfall is that you hear all your neighbors, at all hours of the night, in their rooms and hanging outside their rooms, being drunk and loud. The balconies are so close that you smell people"s cigarette smoke and their ashes hit your balcony. Their conversations, especially loud drunk ones take over your peacefulness and makes enjoying the view hard, especially when you have their dirty water leaking in on your space. The rooms are packed with like 10 or more people to a room. This is not luxurious. Their is no covid...
Read moreRead the reviews and was skeptical about stay but daughter had already made reservations. Seems like a rather old hotel that has not been kept up with subpar housekeeping at best. Microwave had mold on inside of door, toilet won't half flush and takes 30 minutes to fill. We had 2 rooms opposite each other on 8th floor. Room 887 the door seems like it is warped, won't open or close without some effort and a lot of noise. Room 888 has a jacuzzi however appeared it has not been cleaned in a while so wasn't used. Seems like the hotel needs revamping and remodeling, however for $275 for two nights in September total price for an economical get away if just some of the things was corrected would be well worth the value. Another complaint that is out of the hotels control constantly smelled Marijuana when on the...
