We found this hotel by accident. We were taking a walk downtown Napa and we saw all of the guests laughing and enjoying themselves. We were not enjoying our stay at a major name brand hotel so made decision to see if there was any availability at the Napa River Inn. Fortunately, they did and we moved there the next day. Checking in went smoothly and before you knew it, we were in our room relaxing. Regarding parking, there is plenty of space in front of the Inn. Just remember to put the parking ticket on the vehicle dashboard. The hotel includes breakfast, parking and concierge services. Also, someone is on staff 24/7. The rooms are very nice and clean. There is a refrigerator in the room. We found out it can hold two bottles of sparking wine and 4 bottles of water. If possible, ask for a room overlooking the Napa river. In the Embarcadero building, there is a balcony on the second floor that is available everyone in the building. It is perfect for drinking the wine purchased from the local wineries.

We had an incredibly wonderful stay at the Napa River Inn. I think we stayed in Plaza Standard Room. It was in the Plaza building behind the lobby on the river. But the description says garden view. We were on first floor and sort of had a river view but it was not too visible since the trees and shrubs gave you privacy on the patio but not a good view of River. No worries we were happy to have a patio. It was very clean and the bed super comfortable. The staff was great! Rosie the concierge gave me help at the outset with a couple reservations. (I’m going to get a tip to her since I forgot when I checked out :(. Parking was complementary as was charging electric cars. That was great! Thank you. We had 20$ breakfast coupons for the Sweeties next door to the lobby. Delicious pastry options and breakfast sandwiches. Yum!

I booked 2 rooms for a party of 3. We paid $1000 for 1 night for both rooms (weekend, high season). I got room 209, which turned out to be next to the elevator (L-shaped, wrapped around the elevator). The ongoing sounds of guests getting in and out on a Saturday night, unfortunately led to minimal sleep. The only window in the room couldn't be blinded fully and the outside lights shone through (see photo). My other 2 friends ended up in a room directly opposite the ground floor patio entrance of the Celadon restaurant. This translates to the room windows being 6 feet from where the guests ask to be seated. In conclusion: 2 horribly located rooms, lots of noise and light all throughout the night, and no river view. The room itself was nice, we got a $10 breakfast voucher, the building is cool and the location is good.

If I could give more STAR I’ll give this hotel 10 star. First-The location is super convenient you could walk to everywhere in about 1 or 2 min and a lot of good restaurants right around the corner. The River right behind the hotel and it’s only few steps. Second: the hotel facility and rooms is beautiful and clean . Third: the staff extremely nice and helpful. Our car broke down in the hotel parking lot and I couldn’t be more grateful for all the help especially ED he’s so kind so amazing to be there with my husband the whole entire time and Rosie she drove me around to get a rental car. Thank you Ed , thank you Rosie . Thank you all for the hospitality . Will come back soon .

If I could, I would give this inn 4.5 stars. We booked this for our honeymoon and had a relaxing stay. The room was so quaint, spacious, and comfortable. Staff was excellent. Great location, you’re close to everything and can walk anywhere. Our room was located right next to a busy and noisy parking lot and street so we could hear cars and people all night long so I utilized my ear plugs. The bathroom ceiling looked like it was ready for repairs but we had a shower and a tub, which was a bonus. The $10 credit per person for Sweetie Pies (bakery next door) was a nice surprise. Overall, I would stay here again!
