ALDI — Local services in Aurora

Curbside pickup is a JOKE! I came in my window timeframe waited 15min only to receive a text stating to go inside because no one could Bring out my order. Obviously, I had curbside for a reason. My reason was due to a leg injury, so it was hard to walk and that’s why I wanted to curbside pick up… So I go inside I wait another five minutes after talking to an associate who gets somebody else and one of the associates that I was talking to had an attitude with me it was a man with silver hair and a ponytail at the Aurora Location off of Route 34 and yeah, it was just a terrible first experience with curbside pick up and probably won’t ever do it again because of how long the process took and made me late to a different location I needed to go for another curbside pick up. so not convenient at all.

Their excuse was that know one had hold of the curbside pick up phone that notifies them of a customer being there. So they weren’t doing their job. I’m highly disappointed, and...

As always there is such a good variety in all departments. I have to say 95% of food is as good or better than big name brands at a decent price. It's always my go to for groceries. Oh I just love their what I call special section, with all sorts of fun items. The big fat Candles, specialty stuff, toys, car stuff, clothing etc., it changes often so you never know what goodies you'll find. Also, something I have come to realize sometime ago. Not all Aldis are the same. Depending the location, the type of foods offered caters to the local clientele's nationalities. Some stores have more oriental based foods, Indian based, Latin based and European based and of course American. So that's cool if you trying a new recipe and your local Aldi's doesn't carry the ingredients, find the one that does.

Had a really weird exchange with a cashier. I asked for change because I didn’t have a quarter to insert it into the cart to do shopping. I only needed a quarter to gain access to spend money there! The cashier first would not give me change until I handed my money first, I brushed it off not bug deal I get it they didn’t want me to run off with $5 dollars…but after the change was exchanged they go to tell me “next time someone won’t give you change” and I asked whys that and they go “because they wont”…I’m not sure if it’s company policy but the only reason I needed change was to shop at their store! Very weird and unnecessary interaction lol. I just left with my money and went to a different store. You get none...
