Although I miss Pastor Pete and worry about him dearly; I too saw no decline with our new Elders/Pastor. One thing to remember is that whoever created or initially Leads a Congregation- then invokes their own unique spirit along with the Holy Spirit. This in turn 99.99% of the time sets the tone for all. Unfortunately, this also works with those not so smart individuals who risk Blashmeme God while leading troops, colleges, and even their own children to Hell, while continuing the family curse. Crosspoint BLEW me away the very first day as I never knew it possible to have real deal rock/r&b concert while worshiping Jesus and sermons that speak "ALL" DOCTINE, NOT JUST Predestination or Tounges. I so appreciate the amazing staff who welcome ANYONE with open arms and never judging. So, what happpedn to the Bellvue location? For years that was the only one I knew and it is no longer? I just pray, some evil spirit from another Christian denomiation didnt start alll of this. Crosspoint and other Churches alike, are the wave of the future. When we take away biased judgement, we unknowingly add to life, we save souls. Then we edify one another indefinitely.. Yes I suggest Crosspoint 1st. As a baby Christian. One needs to be discerning solid food before venturing off into Pentecostal land, or Baptist Fire & Brimstone. Not that any one denomination is wrong, they are all correct. It just takes extreme faith and wisdom you've proven to yourself before testing our faith. Predestination for me is irrelevant as God actually chooses ALL OF US! I believe the context (Apostle PauL MEANT chosen if you REPENTED. JESUS NOT ONCE PREACHED THE DOCTINE OF PREDESTINATION. Remember too, Paul, was Saul, the X Christian killer who apparently was confused from day 1. Haha. J/j. Regardless, I still see Jesus in this doctrine, I don't judge their congregation, but I do tell you why I can't actually join it, just visit. Then I simply take the meat away from the bones as ultimately, I do feel the spirt and definitely hear "Jesus, his blood, and the Cross! God Bless...

Leaning In” My Journey at Crosspoint Church

This year marked a turning point in my life—a moment I’ll never forget. I got baptized at Crosspoint Church, standing before my community and God to say, “I’m all in.” It wasn’t just about going under the water; it was about letting go of who I used to be and stepping into who God is calling me to become.

After the baptism, I joined the Post-Baptism class. What started as a next step turned into a deep foundation. I was surrounded by others on similar journeys—some newer to faith, some seasoned—but all of us were hungry to grow. That class helped me understand that baptism is the beginning, not the end. It was the spark, and that class helped fan it into a flame.

But God didn’t stop there. Not long after, I started bumping into people from that class randomly—at the gym, at the store, around town. What seemed like coincidence was clearly God aligning things. Through those run-ins, I found myself invited to join a men’s group led by Pastor Daren.

That group has been a game changer. Real talk. Real struggles. Real brotherhood. We dive into scripture, challenge each other, pray together, and show up for each other. There’s something powerful about walking alongside other men who are also trying to lead their families, serve their communities, and honor God.

What I’ve come to realize is this: the more I lean into God, the more He leans into every area of my life. He’s showing up—not just for me, but for my family, my friends, and my community. My faith isn’t just personal anymore; it’s overflowing.

And it all started with one “yes.” One step toward Jesus. And He’s been faithful...

I started attending Cross Point in Nashville online in 2018 and continue to watch every Sunday. I was going through intense medical treatments and could not be in the community. My local church was trying to do live streaming but kept having issues. So I prayed and asked God to lead me to a Christ centered church. That’s when I found Cross Point. I wish it was not a million miles away because I’d attend in person if I could. What a blessing Kevin and the rest of the pastors have been in my life. Their faith and commitment to living out their faith is such a testimony to where their heart is. In 2020 I was finally able to attend my local church but then COVID happened. Man the worship and the messages Kevin gave during 2020 were truly spirit driven. It had a big impact in the lives of people I shared it with.

There are so many things I love about this church. They are focused outward in the community ”helping people find and follow Jesus”.. . They don’t just say that they mean it. I love that they teach from the Bible with scripture and how to apply the scripture to your life. Kevin talks about the hard stuff and does not sugarcoat anything. He’s open and honest about his life and how God changed him. Baptism Sunday is my favorite. I’m so thankful they show it online. It brings tears to my eyes as I’m cheering folks on and praying for folks as they make the most important decision of their life. I’m now able to attend my local church and engage in our local community outreach programs. But every Sunday I go home and watch CP...

It was my first visit here, and I went to the Easter 2019 service. The music was loud for my sensitive ears so I wore earplugs, though the singers were amazing and the music was standard Christian pop worship. Within the first 5 minutes of the sermon, I learned a lot about the pastor's life, his imperfections, and what brought him to where he is today. He was transparent about himself, which means he is trustworthy and his motives are to lead people in the right direction (to Jesus). If you've never been to church before and you want to explore your faith, just based on my first visit I would highly recommend going here, at least once to try it out. You never know what you might discover.

First time here at cross point. Hoping for great things. People were pretty friendly at first glance. We will see as time goes on. Ill repost another update in a few weeks Well sat in the service and the message was wonderful. I myself was impacted by this very personal message. Drew talked about depression and i have been feeling the effects of depression for many years now. And i really dont know how to feel better. It just makes me feel better knowing im in a new place that understands how i feel. Hope anyone feeling like me would get to a place like crosspoint church and see for themselves.
