Beloved Joan of Arc, Maid Of Orleans, what an exciting surprise! I was just in Rouen, France and didn't know I would run into you here! My steps were truly ordered on this return. French hugs and kisses! I thought I would spend another Halloween in the, Cities Of The Dead, and here you are. Over the last couple of years, I've walked past this location so many times but never saw you until now. Maybe on some level (outside of my control), I wasn't ready to fully embrace you until I discovered your crossroads location or "x marks the spot" in France, but please forgive me for not acknowledging you earlier (as I know the feeling of being overlooked and unrequited in society). Whether in France or New Orleans, I'm so honored we are spending time together. We've been connected via the Seine River, English Channel, Atlantic Ocean, and Gulf of Mexico. You are rarely spoken about in this city but you deserve so much more notoriety and focus, so in doing my part...In deep sentiment dearest one, you are a shooting star and I have seen and watched your loveliness, and I must say, you are looking gloriously stunning in that victorious golden aura, emanating Valkyrie energy with your steed. With a heart of gold (not stone and no longer clay), from you, true love shall never depart, for you wield that banner flag, Jehovah Nissi, with power and with pride. I admire your visionary gifts and how you handled that interrogation so well by leveraging your ambidextrous ability. You understood the power of words and how to balance your left and right path responses so cleverly. Although you were just 19, out of the mouth of babes, is a fitting expression for your wisdom. Historical we have a lot in common, so in the spirit of magickal love offerings, The Twenty-Seven Day(s) of Rocknovember, celebration is for you!

Psst, in the spirit of All Hallows Eve, thank you Jeanne for helping me with my pink Lollipop Manga costume as MoRIana "Love Machine" Kahului aka The Bride, that lake-quid refund came in handy. My Egyptian and Hawaiian Husband, Harry Frankenstein Kahului, who's rockin' the steel-n-iron suit, will hopefully approve of this look in his haunted watchtower where we, and our loud and screaming teenager, take refuge while drinking sugary bubble tea in our bath cauldron. I love him, he shields me from the trick or treaters, and he said, I want a love I can see. But you knew it, magick is strong in our family. Knock Knock, Ring Ring, Love Love before me, Return Return 111...

My time in New Orleans was nice and relaxing. This city has such a unique vibe that's hard to compare. It's like a mix of culture and music, some good restaurants and attractions.

I would suggest to visit French Quarter, walking down the Bourbon Street in the evening you can go to some live jazz concerts. Interesting architecture with historic charm. Good restaurants like Beignets at Café du Monde just a must here, etc. Food is a part of the New Orleans experience. I would also suggest to take a guided tour, and explore neighborhoods, Garden District for example have nice mansions from the past era, where you can feel the spirit of New Orleans. I won't spent much time here, but overall New Orleans is a nice city to visit, especially if you pay attention to history, if you like the music, and like to...

Absolutely—it’s a powerful symbol. The Joan of Arc statue in New Orleans, known as “Joanie on the Pony,” sits proudly in the French Quarter. It’s not just a nod to her role as a French heroine but also to the deep French roots of New Orleans itself.

France gifted the statue to the city in 1972, and it’s a replica of the famous one in Paris by Emmanuel Frémiet. Joan of Arc represents courage, faith, and nationalism—values that resonate not just with French history, but also with American ideals of independence...
