Gazebo Café Review

My visit to the Gazebo Café near the French Quarter was an absolutely delightful experience. This charming café perfectly captures the lively spirit of New Orleans, offering great food, refreshing drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere enhanced by live music.

The Ambiance: The Gazebo Café is situated in a prime location, providing a lovely outdoor setting that’s perfect for soaking in the ambiance of the French Quarter. The open-air seating, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flowers, creates a relaxed and inviting environment. The casual, friendly vibe makes it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the local culture.

The Music: One of the standout features of the Gazebo Café is the live music. The café frequently hosts talented local musicians who fill the air with jazz, blues, and other quintessentially New Orleans sounds. The music adds an incredible layer of enjoyment to the dining experience, creating a festive and joyous atmosphere that’s hard to beat.

The Food and Drinks: The menu at Gazebo Café offers a great selection of classic New Orleans dishes and refreshing beverages. The Po’ Boys were packed with flavor, and the Crawfish Étouffée was rich and satisfying. The drinks were equally impressive; the frozen daiquiris were a perfect way to cool down and enjoy the warm New Orleans weather.

The Service: The staff at Gazebo Café were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed and well cared for.

Overall Experience: The Gazebo Café offers an awesome experience that combines delicious food, refreshing drinks, and fantastic live music in a beautiful setting. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone exploring the French Quarter and looking to enjoy the vibrant culture of New Orleans. Highly recommended for a memorable and enjoyable...

In the heart of New Orleans, where the spirit of the city intertwines with its flavors, the Gazebo Cafe beckons like a siren's call to the weary traveler and the curious local alike. Nestled amidst the vibrant bustle of the French Market, it stands as a testament to the enduring soul of this culinary mecca.

As I stepped into its open embrace, I was greeted not only by the sultry strains of live jazz but also by the promise of a quintessential New Orleans afternoon. The ambiance, a melange of market buzz and musical melodies, set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

In this haven of hospitality, the fare is as genuine as the smiles that adorn the faces of both diners and staff. From seafood po-boys to crawfish delights, each dish is a love letter to the rich tapestry of flavors that define this city's gastronomic landscape.

But it was the Jambalaya that stole the show – a symphony of spice and sustenance that danced upon the palate with the grace of a seasoned performer. With each forkful, I was transported to the bayous and back alleys of Louisiana, where every ingredient tells a story of tradition and triumph.

And what is a meal without its accompaniment? The live music, a testament to the city's musical heritage, served as the perfect backdrop to my culinary journey. As the band's melodies filled the air, I couldn't help but feel that I was partaking in a ritual as old as time itself – a communion of food, music, and soul.

In the end, as the rain threatened to dampen the festivities, I couldn't help but linger a little while longer, savoring every last note and morsel. For in the Gazebo Cafe, time stands still, and every moment is a celebration of life, love, and the pursuit of...

This food stop located in the French Quarter is always a plus for atmospher and scenery!! The smells, the music, and the hustle and bistle are always great to watch! I odered the gumbo fries and what it lacked in flavor was made up in the overall atmosphere. The only thing I did not like was my server (an older Causasin guy) It took awhile for him to get to us and that was understandable. We had to ask several other servers to assit our table. The issue was, it was 3 of us and when we asked foe separate checks, he informed us the computer was down and he could not do it. This shoud have been said so from the start. We tipped him $10 on a $94 check because that was all the cash we had. To help speed up our process , I gave him our cheque book and waited by the window for him to swipe my card. While waiting, he looked at the ones and stated, " You know we normally make 18 to 20 percent, I see it's ony like 7 dollars in here. I stood there and replied, " ok" because unbeknowst to him, myself and the other parties at my table are servers and we KNOW how to tip. We were planning on tipping more after we got the receipt. So he gives me the receipt and says, ' you can add the extra money on the tip line becuase like I said, we normally get tipped more than that". I didn't even dignify him with a response this time. I just scrawled my signature, put 3 zeros on the tip line and left. He talked himself out of his {extra / the rest of } his tip. We will dine again, just...
