It is a nice monument considering that I am Mexican and I do love History. I think if you know who is Benito Juarez you should visit it. I visited New Orleans too many times and I didn't know about the monument. It is very close to the Bourbon Street, I just followed street "Calle D Conti".

Statue of Benito Juarez is part of a three statue middle street monument placement representing three Latin American historical figures who made changes to the world during their time on earth. It's located on Basin and Canal near the PD station. It's a heavy traffic section so be careful when crossing or capture views from the street sides. The history is interesting if you want to learn more you can Google it or Search Wikipedia. It's free to view so no you don't need tickets.
