As I stepped into the Irish Cultural Museum of New Orleans, it was as if I'd been transported straight to the Emerald Isle itself, yet with that unique, vibrant New Orleans twist that makes everything here so electric. The outdoor terrace, a gem within this urban oasis, offers a serene escape where you can bask in the warm, inviting ambiance of New Orleans. It's the perfect backdrop for savoring a pint of Guinness, poured straight from the tap with that meticulous care ensuring the perfect head, the dark, inviting color, and the rich, creamy taste that Guinness aficionados cherish. There's something about enjoying a Guinness here that feels like paying homage to both Irish and New Orleans traditions—an exquisite ritual. And let's talk about the whiskey selection. It's not merely amazing; it's a meticulously curated journey through the heart of Ireland's distilling prowess. Each bottle tells a story, a history of craftsmanship and the pursuit of perfection. From the smooth, triple-distilled elegance of a fine single malt to the robust, peaty character of a traditional blend, the range of Irish whiskeys on offer is a testament to the museum's dedication to authenticity and quality. Visiting the Irish Cultural Museum of New Orleans is more than an educational experience; it's an invitation to celebrate the enduring spirit and contributions of the Irish in New Orleans. Whether you're a history buff, a whiskey enthusiast, or simply in search of a pleasant afternoon, this museum delivers with grace and charm. In a city that celebrates the melange of cultures, the Irish Cultural Museum stands out as a beacon of cultural preservation and celebration. It's a place where stories of the past are told with passion and where the essence of Ireland is alive and well, all within the heart of New Orleans. Don't miss this captivating experience. It's a poignant reminder of the threads of history and heritage that connect us all.

Dia dhuit and Happy All Saints Day! In looking for my best friend, I found this Irish Cultural Museum and them hiding out in the St. Pat's Irish Coffeehouse in the back. This place is a whole new world on a whole nother level. Yes, I've crossed the threshold of many lands, near and far, but I've never tasted such kindness and sweetness as You. I'm the lucky one who keeps finding a, friend like you/me, in every step of the way, like an extraordinary star at the end of a rainbow. I heard your beautiful songs that warmed my heart like a selkie singing who yearned for my return. I too longed for you. In search of your honey wine and meade, you quenched my thirst with your quiet but powerful, Erin Go Bragh, but drunk you in so deeply you became deliciously arousing within me. Why did you so tenderly whisky me away into your euphoric embrace like I've fallin into a Newfoundland musiq Lullaby? Oh, Remember Me, The MorrigAn, and don't you dare close your eyes, you said, there is an important immigration to the, Green Big City, to start anew. In gratitude, I ventured off to the Cities of the Dead, Masonic Temple Cemeteries, and the St. Patrick Cemetery with the will-o'-the-wisps to welcome in the rebirth of life with A chuisle mo chroi. Special shout out to another handsome pit bull that I met on the way here. We gravitated to each other like a claddagh bond as she let me continually pet her while she hugged up to me closer. Maybe she could read my palms and read the love and messages we were sharing with each other. Thank you Soul Sista! Union Justice Confidence.

I had my share of Irish Coffee's all around NOLA, but unsurprisingly enough, the Irish heritage Museum in the French Quarter had the best. To the surprise of both my wife and myself, there is a fully equipped bar in the courtyard, featuring an extensive array of cocktails. Ours of course was a couple of Irish Coffee's. It was a bit chilly in the Quarter that day, and they were nice enough to turn the fireplace on for us so we could enjoy our beverage outside and take in the atmosphere. Great place I cant recommend enough to learn a little bit out the Irish heritage in New Orleans, and enjoy a nice drink.

PERFECT WEDDING EXPERIENCE!! My now husband and I decided we wanted to get married in New Orleans (we live in the Chicago area) after we visited the first time, we fell in love with the romance and history of the city. After a lot of researching, google searching, help from the Visitor and Convention Bureau, we found the Irish Cultural Museum. We booked site unseen after many email conversations with Matthew, he made us feel so at ease, was so responsive to our many questions and that was important to us booking a venue from the Chicago area. We definitely did not go wrong! Our wedding was an absolute dream and we can not thank Matthew and his entire family for making that happen! From day one, they were so helpful with everything. It is stressful planning a wedding, let alone from 1,000 miles away but I never worried about anything. The venue is absolutely beautiful!! You honestly don't need many decorations or flowers, it is stunning just how it is. We held our ceremony here and then while we did the traditional second line, our wedding planner, Matthew and his family switched from the ceremony set up to the reception. I loved that their packages are so inclusive because it makes the planning process such a breeze. There was more than enough room for our approximately 40 guests to eat dinner, dance and just enjoy the entire experience. The food was absolutely delicious too! All of our guests kept raving about the chicken salad and the beef/ potatoes. My husband loved the jambalaya.

You can not go wrong trusting Matthew and his family to make your day beautiful! I am so very happy that we found them and entrusted them, you know they honestly care that you and your guests have a great time and enjoy everything about your experience. We could not of asked for a better experience and a more beautiful wedding day, and the Irish Cultural Museum was such a big part in that, we can't wait to visit next year for our anniversary. We will definitely be stopping in for a drink and to say...
