My boyfriend and I were up late and looking for a 24 hour restaurant to eat. Upon doing some research, I came across Deja Vu and decided that it was worthy of the cut. Right off hand, though, I could tell that this wouldn't be the best dining experience as we waited for 20 minutes to receive our 2 waters (this was after the waitress had come BACK to our table and asked us what we wanted to drink for a second time). We promptly ordered because, to be honest, we didn't know how long it would take to get our food considering it took 20 minutes to receive our drinks. I ordered a burger and my boyfriend ordered the crawfish Po Boy. We got our food and started eating when my boyfriend realized that he was served MOLDY BREAD. I'm not kidding. His bread was moldy. Too bad I can't upload a photo to prove to anyone wanting to eat at this establishment. I, of course, couldn't stomach to eat the rest of my food either out of fear that my food was also poisoned, yet she STILL charged me for the burger and attempted to excuse the kitchen by explaining they had pulled bread from "a bad bag." Why the eff was it even still in the kitchen, and furthermore, does the "chef" not pay the slightest bit of attention to the food before sending it out??? I wanted to go straight chef Ramsey on these people, but instead, felt it would be more necessary to inform the public of the foulness that this so-called restaurant has to offer. Just...

Some of the most unfriendly staff you could possibly imagine. When we came in and asked if the kitchen is still open an unfriendly bar man just nodded us to a place without even looking at us. Once we sat an even unfriendlier woman came, asked us for our IDs (although we told her we really just wanted to eat), which we then took out, and she rudely told us that only passport is accepted, turned around and disappeared in the kitchen. Haven’t ever been asked for my passport anywhere in the US, but rules are the rules, that’s not the issue here. The issue is her disgusting behaviour. We then waited for her to ask her if either a picture on the phone would be ok, if not we could quickly go to the hotel and get the passports. But instead, she didn’t come back although the place was almost empty and just ignored us when she came back- despite clearly seeing we were still standing there. We asked her then directly and she just snarled at “NO” and that anyway, the kitchen just closed in the meantime. Wow. She turned around and then only shouted at us “next time bring passports!”. As if we would come back after such respectless behaviour. No burger can be good enough to excuse that. Really , better don’t go there. You find good burgers in place where the staff at least learned some good...

We are from New Jersey and we're used to good food but we went there and Johnny was our waiter was one of the best waiters we have had a establishment/bar. He was very attentive very nice. When I was done with my drink he had another one ready for me without me even having to ask That's the way it should be when you go to a restaurant. Now let's talk about the food oh my God The food was awesome I wish I could use curse words. I had something as little as chicken fingers with mashed potatoes and when I tell you it was totally different best mashed potatoes I have ever had we both were looking at each other in awe because it was so delicious we both don't understand how something as simple mashed potatoes could be so 🤩🤩🤩🤩 amazing and my wife The nachos unbelievable I mean unbelievable and trust me we weren't drunk so they were really good. It was so good that she went back the next day at night to get more because never had nachos in a bar or anywhere like this and like I said we are from New Jersey so there's Mexican restaurants all over the place that have five stars and they can't even come close with a 10-ft pole to how good these nachos are were. I got to stop talking about this because it's making my mouth water. I strongly recommend this place and it is ...........Justin...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Deja Vu in the French Quarter of New Orleans is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm smiles and a charming atmosphere. But let's get to the heart of it – the food and drinks! Their Bloody Marys are hands down the best I've ever had. Perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice, garnished to perfection, and the presentation is simply top-notch. These Bloody Marys are a must-try, and trust me, they will not disappoint. Now, let's talk about the steak dinner. It’s genuinely the best reasonably priced steak you will find anywhere. Cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The portion sizes are generous, and every bite leaves you wanting more. The service here is impeccable, and the staff always make sure you have everything you need. Deja Vu is now my go-to spot in New Orleans, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Whether you're a local or just visiting, make sure to stop by and experience this wonderful restaurant. You'll be planning your next visit before you even leave! Bravo, Deja Vu! 👏👏👏

Following a French Quarter wedding, we had some time to wait before group dinner plans later in the evening. While walking a short distance, we saw Deja Vu on the corner...looked like a neat place. We did not want “big” meals now, so thought we would give it a try and see what they had. It was a small type restaurant and bar...had bright red chairs, and nice light coming from the entrance...clean and nice atmosphere. It is open 24/7 and serves breakfast all the time...has lots of options for food. There were only a few people when we first arrived around 3 PM, but before we left it was nearly completely filled. We had an awesome server...didn’t need to write any of our orders down....and everything was very good.....freshly-prepared, hot, reasonable prices. We had grilled cheese sandwiches, French fries, mozzarella sticks, baked potatoes, and cole slaw.

This bar/restaurant was literally steps away from the hotel my husband and I were staying at, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did because the food was very good. The bar-maid that worked the evening of October 3, 2019 was a sweetheart. She was so helpful, and assisted us in choosing what we should order from the menu. The choices were wonderful, because everything tasted so good. My husband ended up getting the catfish po' boy, while I ordered wings and seafood gumbo. Everything was so amazing, and thankfully they are open 24 hours, that we stopped by the following morning and grabbed breakfast. Deja Vu is definitely the place to visit while in New Orleans.
