A group of four of us booked 11am appointments. My husband and I arrived exactly at 11am and checked in. We told them our friends were running around five min late, which they said was fine. Once our friends arrived, they told us they could only take three of us, but that the fourth spot would be opening up “in a few minutes.” We asked if we could all wait to go together and they said no. I opted to wait. 15 minutes went by and they told me it would be another 15 minutes until I could be taken. Mind you, the entire appointment is 60 min, so my friends would have had to wait for me for 30 min after they were done, and we would have missed our lunch reservations. I kindly opted to skip my appointment and took a walk. Lo and behold, I get a text from my husband just 40 minutes into his appointment saying they finished with him. I walked back and went to the register at the spa. They tried charging me for both of our 60 minute appointments until I reminded them that I didn’t get a treatment due to their mishap. Then, I asked why my husband was finished in 40 minutes for a 60 minute treatment (our friends were still on the head spa tables at this point receiving their full treatment). They said it was because the hair dryer area was full and he opted to not get his hair dried. We said that doesn’t take 15 minutes and that our friends hadn’t even gotten to that point yet, and then they tried to tell us it was because we were late. I said if that were the case, they should have told the two of us when we arrived that we could not wait for our friends which would have been fine. They offered a meaningless discount until I pushed back. I offered to pay the same per minute price from the 60 min treatment for his 40 min spa treatment, and they eventually agreed. For what it’s worth, our friends had a great treatment. I would either avoid this place or only go as a couple- they didn’t seem to have scheduling issues with any of them, but they couldn’t coordinate an appointment for four people. It was a typical situation where they happily overbook and don’t care how it affects...
Read moreI’ve walked by Blissful Headspa countless times, and after a long day, I decided to finally book a treatment — best decision ever. It was my first time experiencing a headspa, and all I knew was what I’d seen on social media. I booked the Signature Scalp Herbal Steam Treatment (60 min) + 30 min Body Massage online, which was super easy. I arrived a few minutes early and had no issues checking in. I asked if they preferred phone calls, but they said online booking works great too.
My therapist was Andy, who started with a 30-minute massage on my back, neck, shoulders, and arms — it was exactly what I needed. The space was quiet and clean, with soft lighting and a wrap dress provided for comfort. The massage was firm but relaxing, never too hard or too fast like some nearby spots. I had a lot of tension in my neck and traps, and Andy’s approach was perfect.
After the body massage, Andy transformed the setup into a headspa station. The next hour was pure bliss — warm water, gentle scalp massage, neck and forehead pressure points, even chest and upper-back work. The products smelled amazing, and every motion felt intentional. The long metal head massager gave me chills (in the best way) and made Andy laugh. My hair was double-washed and conditioned, followed by a steam while Andy massaged my shoulders, arms, and hands again. The temperature of both the room and water were perfect — I didn’t think about either once, which says a lot.
At the end, Andy blow-dried my hair and showed me my scalp on the monitor — very cool to see, especially for those who want to check on scalp health. Even without any issues, my hair looked shiny, clean, and healthy. I left feeling like a new person — relaxed, refreshed, and completely reset.
They do accept cards, though I paid cash as preferred. My only suggestion would be to turn the spa music up just a little louder for full immersion. Otherwise, it was perfect.
Hands down the best hidden gem in Greenpoint. I’ll absolutely be back to try...

Full Review---
Price: This place is Cash only, but they do have an ATM inside by the front desk. I booked the $78 60 min Signature Scalp Treatment. You're expected to tip and I paid $100 total in cash.
Ambience: Clean and practical. Free water/tea in the lobby. The rooms are just built off a hallway (similar to if you've been to HeyDay or Withn). They play generic spa music but as an FYI you will hear other folks in the background (i.e. hair dryer sound, a little chit chat, percussive massage sounds).
Process: This was my first time so I didn't know how to get set-up, so hopefully this will help others! The room you're in will have a massage table with a sink attachment. There's a half-cape on the massage table - you are expected to take off your top (as well as your bra, although in my case, I left my bra on and just took the straps off) and fasten the half-cape around you, under your armpits (imagine the way you might wrap a towel around your body after you get out of the shower). I kept my bottoms on and laid face up on the table. The masseuse will come in and place a blanket over your torso for added comfort/warmth/privacy.
Treatment: Generally it was 15min of dry scalp massage, 15 min washing & shoulder/neck massage, 15 min steam & arm/shoulder massage, 15min dry my hair & shoulder/neck massage. They use dyson hair dryers, and at the end, they use a camera to show you how clean your scalp is! (However, they don't show you a before photo lol).
I truly walked out an absolutely refreshed and brand new human. I hold a lot of stress in my scalp, and this completely soothed it. I also spend all my time at a computer, so all the shoulder/neck massage was very welcome. Would def come again and have been recommending others...
