Leaving the bottom part of my review but upped the stars since that criticism is likely no longer relevant. We love calexico! Great drinks, awesome happy hour, tacos and nachos are great. My wife likes the quesadillas but I just think they’re ok.
Just to be clear, I like Calexico. But, as of 6/29/2021 they are NOT doing indoor or outdoor dining at the green point location, despite advertising “out door dining” on their website. They have a takeout window with very limited first come first serve seating - like less than ten tables. When I showed up there was another group who was completely confused by what was happening because there is one staff member working the takeout window and tables. For me this amounts to eating on a public bench. Maybe I misunderstood but based on what I saw and heard from their staff this seems to be the case. Avoid until they get their act together again.
If you’re just trying to pick up some food to take home 4-5 stars for sure. We did take out once and it was fine, but things like nachos just don’t last super well when in a take out container. The real experience to hang there, get some...

The nachos were plenty big and tasty - no one went hungry waiting for the mains to come out of the kitchen.
I ordered the steak fajitas - not exactly cooked to temp which left the meat dry and the lack of cheese didn’t help the dish’s case. You might be better off ordering something else. Folks seemed to enjoy the tacos they ordered. If I ever go back I’ll go with the quesadillas… but I doubt...

The rice was dry, the ingredients in the burrito were all lopsided, and the burrito as a whole was super dry even after I paid $4 extra for what turned out to be a very small amount of sauce to make it a wet burrito.
I basically ate dry rice wrapped in tortilla with "sauce" for the first third of the burrito until I had to dissect it to see if the kitchen staff might have forgotten the protein.
I feel pretty regretful about paying $20 for an experience that disappointing. It's an extremely high sticker price for a burrito to begin with, and I'm not sure I'm willing to invest that amount again to check out if the food...
