Exceptional Experience at Spear Noho with Beth and Jennie
I recently finished a series of PT sessions at Spear, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of remarkable. The highlight of my journey towards recovery was undoubtedly the professional care and expertise provided by my therapists, Beth and Jennie.
From the outset, Beth and Jennie exhibited a level of professionalism and warmth that immediately put me at ease. Beth, with her profound knowledge and meticulous approach, made sure that every aspect of my therapy was tailored to my specific needs. Her ability to explain complex medical conditions in simple terms was incredibly helpful. Under her guidance, I felt confident and reassured at every step of my recovery.
Jennie, on the other hand, brought an infectious enthusiasm and positivity to each session. Her encouragement and motivational attitude were pivotal in keeping me committed to the therapy process. Jennie's hands-on techniques were not only effective but also delivered with utmost care and empathy. She has a natural talent for connecting with clients, making challenging exercises seem more doable and even enjoyable.
The synergy between Beth and Jennie was phenomenal. It was evident that they both coordinated and communicated behind the scenes to optimize my treatment plan. This cohesive teamwork accelerated my progress and made my experience at Spear both productive and pleasant.
The facility itself was top-notch, boasting state-of-the-art equipment and a clean, welcoming environment. But it was the human touch provided by Beth and Jennie that truly made the difference. Their dedication to my wellbeing was evident in every interaction, and their expertise was apparent in the results I achieved.
Thanks to Beth and Jennie, I not only recovered from my injury but also gained a deeper understanding of body mechanics and how to prevent future injuries. I wholeheartedly recommend Spear to anyone seeking a supportive, knowledgeable, and effective physical therapy experience. Beth and Jennie are a fantastic team, and I am profoundly grateful for their care...
Read moreSpear's NoHo location is full of energy and support. The team is highly knowledgeable and personable. Even when I did not want to come to my appointments, the overall energy and team support, even from physical therapists who were not my therapist, made the experience 10/10. At this Spear, I felt seen, cared for, and valued. I recommend Spear to anyone in need of a physical therapist.
I saw Evan Chang during my tenure at Spear. I came in with consistent achy-ness and pain in my knee, where I was unable to walk long distances, go on runs, and struggled with limited mobility due to my knee pain. After my time with Evan, my knee pain is 98% better; sometimes, my knee is still sore, but I know how to handle flair-ups, and I can do any physical activity I want without hesitation. I am beyond thankful for Evan's knowledge, energy, and dedication to educating me and healing my knee. I feel empowered because of Evan to keep building upon the training I received and to continue to keep developing my body overall, and keep progressing on my wellness journey.
I would be remiss if I did not mention that the front desk team is equally part of the vibrancy of this Spear location; each person was beyond warm and welcoming and genuinely brought their personal flairs to the front desk. It was a true joy to walk into Spear twice a week.
My only advice would be to remove the iPad check-in kiosk - the front desk team is part of what makes Spear magical - let them shine vs having them behind an iPad. Additionally, I heard multiple elderly patients struggle to use the updated check-in system, and the screen was too small for legibility.
To reiterate, I cannot recommend this location and Evan Chang enough for any and all of your physical therapy needs. I truly will miss visiting this...
Read moreIf I could give more than five stars, I would. I’ve been to physical therapy before and usually lose steam quickly because I don’t see results, but my experience at the NoHo-Broadway Spear has been completely different, thanks to Beth Kines. She’s a miracle worker.
Beth is attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. From day one, she took the time to explain not just what exercises I was doing, but why they mattered and how they were helping me heal. That made a huge difference. I’m not someone who enjoys exercise, but Beth kept me motivated and on track, always checking in on my progress and adjusting as needed. It felt like she was as invested in my recovery as I was. Sometimes even more.
One thing I really appreciate about this Spear location is that even though there are plenty of serious athletes there, there are also lots of people like me, older people, or just people looking for basic recovery and care. No matter who you are, everyone there treats you like your PT matters. The whole vibe of the place is positive and supportive. Oh, and the reception and billing staff are also on top of it and super friendly.
At a recent birthday party, a few of us started talking about how much we loved our PT places and it turned out we all are going to different Spear locations across Manhattan and Brooklyn. Spear clearly knows how to hire great people. I ended up at NoHo-Broadway because two coworkers raved about their experiences there, and now I’m the one telling everyone to go.
If you’re looking for the best physical therapy experience, make the appointment. Don’t wait. And if you can get on Beth’s schedule, even...
