With great art and good food Frieze New York is my favorite contemporary art fair. Like The Armory Show, Frieze features a roster of top notch galleries from around the world. I have attended the fair three years in a row. The admission fee is steep, but worth it if you enjoy seeing a diverse selection of artwork under one roof. Pommery is usually a sponsor, so a glass of bubbly is never more than a few feet away. The culinary options are provided by local restaurant outposts of some of NYC's tastiest spots. Obviously, the art fair is more for commercial use but the pieces there are quite good. Also, there weren't too many good or drink options.
