I just posted pics and a screenshot video HERE, so folks can see your baseless and very defensive LIES… Additionally, you’re CURRENTLY selling and have taken in used, creased and worn sneakers and shoes. ALL of those are currently being sold on your website right now. They are NOT new or mint, like you mentioned in your reply to me…Lies once again…Corey only offered $50, NOT anything above that or up to 75. Another lie.

I was just in here and this place is NOT to be believed. I originally only came here because of the high reviews, but realistically, ALL of the five star reviews posted are FAKE. I dealt with Corey, the “employee of the month”, who only offered me $50 for my impeccable item currently valued at $700 retail (still being sold online and in stores). He didn’t want to look at my original receipt which I had with me, nor did he check the value anywhere online. If he would have attempted to provide this basic level of common sense and common customer courtesy, he would have noticed the true value of this item. Corey decided that he knows the price of every item being sold everywhere online/in stores and came up with $50 off the top of his head. A predatory move places like this use, BE VERY AWARE!

BEFORE YOU THINK ABOUT COMING HERE. THINK THREE TIMES OVER BEFORE REALLY COMING HERE!

REALLY think about whether you’d like to waste your time and energy coming to a place like this, that truly under values all items, because they are taking advantage of folks in their current situation.

MY ADVICE:

Places like these follow the SAME SCRIPT.

DO NOT answer them with a dollar amount when they ask you how much you want. This is the oldest trick in the book at places like these. Listen when they first speak with folks around you while you’re in the store. You’ll hear the same script, just with a different cast member (a customer). This is where they cut their offer to you by 1/5 to 1/6th, even before they assess your item. This is NOT how respectable business is done.

RESEARCH whether this place has any VIOLATIONS and/or are doing any deals which are ILLEGAL in the state of New York, like STILL pawning iPhone’s and iPad’s…

SELL ON AN APP, OR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE INSTEAD that has a true, reputable reputation that can be believed. DO NOT continue to allow businesses like these to continue praying on the vulnerable public.

I have reviewed over 113 places and my assessment of this place can be believed. You can go by the reviewers on here who have ONLY posted one single review ever in their life, or someone who thoroughly understands how business and customer service is done. The choice is yours and remember that TIME AND ENERGY WASTED = MONEY LOST. You decide…

YOU’VE...

First time pawning and first time at this main location.....let’s just say please based this on my unbiased experience. Outside I was greeted and it felt nice and warm probably by security and staff from different area. It was cold as hell inside meaning the workers ; very straightforward I appreciate Donovan going the extra mile to service me and meet me as close to my number as possible. Even inquiring about a different amount based on my initial request. Lisa who I wasn’t even dealing with maybe a worker who should be glad to be employed . If this is an ethically based company she needs a lesson on code and conduct in front on clients. Whether you think their request is erroneous or not. Lisa snickering in the background and prancing behind the counter but offering no assistance but presence. I just can’t even first time going and of course last time going .....once I pick up my ticket. I just want to remind the employees there that it is their business to maintain professionalism at all times even in adversity. Donovan was the only one who exuded it at the end of course cause at first he might’ve been entertained and distracted by Lisa’s rebuff . Excellent Service! Friendly staff and goes out of they're way to help and get you the most money for your pawn. If you have any electronics I highly recommend asking for Corey Cox of the electronics department. I came in with my pioneer ddj controller and a midi controller to pawn and he gave me a great and fair deal on both. He was extremely knowledgeable about all electronics and audio equipment and assured my things would be kept safe till I come back to get them. I definitely will be going back to not only pick up my equipment and if I have anything else to pawn I'm coming here. Also possibly buy equipment the prices seem fair. Only thing they could use a little more audio studio gear and dj equipment at this location but Corey assured me if they didn't have it he would call one of the other locations and see if they had it in stock. Overall from my first impression I definitely give 5 stars to this business and recommend going. And 10 stars for Corey Cox!...
