Watch out if you are buying a car from this dealership, especially a salesman using the name Kevin (real name reportedly Chupei). They routinely try to charge a $1,295 destination fee on used cars. Let that sink in – destination fees are ONLY for new cars coming straight from the factory. Charging it for a used vehicle already sitting on their lot is pure nonsense. It's clearly just a hidden markup tactic they try to slip past buyers to inflate the price unfairly. It gets worse. Salespeople, like this Kevin, consistently tell customers that buying the insanely expensive $2,995 Ideal Auto Care Package is mandatory. Don't believe them for a second. It's a straight-up lie. Their own website and the actual sales contracts clearly list this package as OPTIONAL. This isn't an accident; it's a deliberate pressure tactic to force buyers into coughing up thousands extra for something they don't need and shouldn't have to buy. They just pretend it's required. And then there's the down payment scam. They commonly claim that putting too much down on a credit card will trigger hefty extra fees. Maybe minor fees exist, but the way they present it feels like an excuse. The real shocker? Sales staff, like Kevin, reportedly ask customers to use Zelle for the remaining down payment balance directly to their personal accounts. Think about that: directing customers to send large sums of money via Zelle to the salesman personally, not the dealership. That's not just unprofessional, it's a massive red flag and screams fraudulent operation. Legitimate businesses don't operate this way. These are their standard playbook. Slapping on bogus fees for used cars, lying about optional expensive packages being mandatory, and pressuring buyers into sending money directly to a salesman's personal account? These are consistent, deceptive practices that reek of dishonesty and exploitation. This dealership, and specially salespeople like Kevin (Chupei), operate with fundamentally shady tactics. Steer clear unless you enjoy being misled and pressured into paying extra for nothing.

“IDeal” Auto lived up to its name by giving me the IDEAL EXPERIENCE! I went in to look at a Range Rover Velar for my wife and was immediately greeted with respect and kindness when I walked in the door. I explained that I was just there to peak my curiosity and received zero pressure from Edwin who greeted me. My sales rep Voshawn was very attentive and polite and escorted me to the showroom to look at the Range Rover I inquired about. Upon further investigation Voshawn told me the car was having some issues and was not available for sale. Though I was disappointed, I sincerely appreciated the transparency. Voshawn asked me if I was interested in any other vehicles and I told him I wanted to look at luxury suvs/crossovers. He then pointed me to a BMW X6 that I was sure would be out of my price range. But much to my surprise not only was it in my price range, but it was even less expensive than the Range Rover Velar. I inquired about any additional dealer fees and was given a direct and transparent answer again. This is unheard of in the car sales world…lol. Had I found the “unicorn” of used car dealerships? I inquired how much they would give me to trade in my wife’s 2019 Kia Optima and am pleased to report I received a fair amount for it. Initially, I felt the offer was a little low, but Kevin the appraiser worked hard to make me happy and was again transparent as to why he could offer what he could offer. After discussing what I felt comfortable with pricewise and some negotiating on Kevin’s part, we were able to come to an agreement that met both of our needs. Sam, the finance manager was able to get me a good rate through Capital One and made everything smooth. I couldn’t have been happier with the team at IDeal Auto Sales. Thanks fam! I will definitely consider returning for more vehicles in the future!

The most impressive service, experience of my life! It’s just a car right. Well they don’t look at it that way. Red carpet from start to finish. We drove from Mass to NY got there and Mr. Ming was preparing the car as I was pulling in. Take the car for a drive, amazing QX60 Wow! They know how to shop for cars. Mr. Ming tells me they changed my rotors, breaks and oil, air filter. Never has a dealership gone that extra mile. Mr. Ming also is doing all my paperwork and overnight my plates. I don’t know about you but I will drive to him again to purchase a car. The team is real genuinely kind hearted. Extremely professional. They’re an honest car dealership upfront.

I recently had a profoundly disappointing experience with Ideal Auto of Bayside. I felt compelled to share my experience to prevent others from falling victim to their deceptive tactic and shady business practices. My encounter with Ideal Auto Sales of Bayside left me incredibly inconvenience. After finding a vehicle online at what appeared to be a fair price. I eagerly contacted Ideal Auto Sales of Bayside to inquire further, was told no other fees will be charged. I took time off from my busy schedule and went to the bank and bought a cashier's check payable to Ideal Auto Sale of Bayside. I requested to my son to take time from his family's activities to accompany me to purchase the vehicle and bring it home. The sales personnel Elsie, it is like a chess game she did not want to give the correct spelling of her name. She gave me a list for additional $7K on the car advertised amount. And the vehicle was not even there that was advertised. In conclusion my experience with Ideal Auto Sales of Bayside was nothing short of a nightmare. Save yourself the time, money and frustration by seeking out alternative reputable Dealership that prioritized transparency and customer satisfaction.Subsequently, I went to Yes Autos Inc where I had a professional and transparent experience with Yes Autos. I was told of the additional price which I agreed to. I am now a happy customer. I therefore, recommend to everyone to do your vehicle's shopping with Yes Auto, and...
