Delicious, flavorful decaf iced espresso! It is not an easy feat as I have often regretted ordering anything decaf because of a weird, off aftertaste. This had no strange taste and was thoroughly enjoyable. I had a gluten-free brownie, which was also very tasty and satisfying. All the baked goods looked enticing! I had everything "to-go" and did not stay in the café. It was pleasant enough -- but for me, it could have been a bit "warmer" in décor and ambience ... and honestly, nothing beats Central Park on a sunny, warm day. Just my personal aesthetic preference. Others might feel differently about it. It definitely is far superior to some "chain" coffee places (on all criteria) -- I don't have to name them! It seems like a great place to stay a bit and catch up on emails, texts, etc., or to have a coffee & chat with a friend. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend Charlotte Café. I am glad they have joined the neighborhood!
