Dinosaur Playground — Attraction in New York

I don't know what's happening, but half of the park has been closed for over a year, and it doesn't seem like they're going to do anything to fix it. The dinosaurs are falling apart, and they're not fixing them.

On Sunday, May 18th, a very large family was celebrating a birthday, and several of the attendees were smoking, which wasn't regular tobacco, inside the children's area. And a police patrol passed by, stopped for a minute but didn't get out of the car, and kept going.

It's totally neglected, and it's a shame because with a minimum of care, it would be a great park. My son loves it...

Located in Riverside Park, basically came here because it was used as a filming location for the 1979 movie The Warriors. This is where they filmed the big meeting with all the gangs. Part of it has now been turned into a children's playground with play equipment, but most of the bridge structure and walkways and railings from 1979 are still there. I even found some old graffiti written on one...

The playground is spacious and mostly shaded, with sprinklers, which is perfect on summer days. There are two sand pits and two frames - one for the little ones, which is open, and the other frame is currently under renovation. We enjoyed our time there, even though you can hear the sound of...
