We (my brother and I) placed one in advance but got rained out; fortunately, we were able to talk to the superintendent and book a slot for another day at no extra cost! Be aware that there is definitely a long wait—this is New York—and the mornings are always the busiest. Read moreVery poor experience with this organization running the 96th St courts. It's sad because the courts deserve better stewardship. Booked a private lesson. The RCTA canceled the lesson last minute so they could rent the courts to a corporation to use in an ad. They did not bother to notify me of the cancelation so I wasted an hour traveling to the courts. No effort at all to make it right. Not even an apology. Had to chase on a refund. Very rude and disrespectful throughout. Would be disappointing behavior in a business, but incredibly sad to see the city's courts...
