Kips Bay Decorator Show House — Attraction in New York

I've been attending this interior design extravaganza for close to 15 years. It's understandable that every room is not going to have a while Factor, but it's still a nice getaway from everyday life. The one aspect that really rubbed me in the wrong way was when I got up to and the young lady informed me that it was $60. My response to her was what I thought it was 50 that's what was posted on the website, and her response was that was if you got your tickets early. Sadly this company is becoming a money hungry generating machine. It's not the additional $10 it's basically the gouging of having a 50% increase within one year, for a 40 minute tour that you conduct on your own. Not very happy will consider going next time a little...

Absolutely gorgeous but I do with they would choose a show house that is more accessible to everyone . There is no elevator & it’s four stories . This is at the 65th street location . The location changes every year . Again it’s gorgeous but it can be a bit challenging for some . Also the air conditioner didn’t seem to working too well . Also would have been nice if a cup of water or small bottle water was available . I will definitely go again because the designs were amazing just wanted to mention some things...
