Figo Gelateria has quickly become one of my favorite places for breakfast. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy vibe that makes you feel instantly at ease.

☕ The coffee is excellent — rich, smooth, and served just right, making it the ideal morning pick-me-up. 🥐 The pastries are absolutely delicious, always fresh and perfectly baked, with a nice balance between classic favorites and more creative options. 🍨 And of course, the gelato is top-notch: creamy, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality, artisanal ingredients. A true treat in any season.

We visited on opening day and had an excellent experience—great service and delicious flavors. Because of that, we were excited to return the next day. Unfortunately, our second visit was disappointing. While my daughter was sampling a few flavors to decide what she wanted, we were repeatedly passed over in favor of customers who arrived after us. Those customers were able to sample and place their orders before we were even helped.

We only asked for a few samples and were patient, but it felt like we were overlooked. For improved service, I’d suggest ensuring that current customers are fully helped before moving on to the next in line. The flavors and options remain fantastic, but today’s customer service didn’t match the high standard...

I stumbled upon this gelato shop during a walk — I’ve often seen long lines at their Manhattan location, but this Brooklyn branch must be relatively new. The store is spacious and much quieter, so I decided to check it out.

I got a 2-scoop cup for $9.25, which is on the pricier side. I chose Figo (a unique blend of Ricotta, caramelized figs, amaretti) and cherry. Figo was definitely the standout — creamy, rich, and surprisingly delicious. Amarena Amore Mio - Cherry, marsala and almonds on the other hand, was more standard — the kind of flavor you’d expect and recognize instantly.
