Title: An Ongoing Ordeal of Unprofessionalism and Disrespect Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5 stars) I've unfortunately had to frequent the Verizon store located at 70-34 Austin St, Forest Hills, Queens, NYC, over the last seven months, and each visit has been nothing short of a nightmare. From my first experience, where I was blatantly ignored and passed over multiple times in the queue until I complained, it was evident that customer service was not a priority at this establishment. Instead of helping me troubleshoot the issue with my iPhone 7, the salesperson assigned to assist me quickly dismissed the problem as obsolescence, pressuring me into purchasing an iPhone 13 mini. When the issue persisted on the new phone, further consultations with Apple and Verizon technical support pointed towards a network issue - not a problem with the phone itself. This situation has caused me significant inconvenience and cost. Fast forward a few months, and I am back at the store purchasing a Google Pixel 7a phone for business and medical-related calls as my regular iPhone still does not usually ring. Despite paying a $30 set-up fee, the associate assigned to me failed to set up the phone properly and abandoned the task mid-way, stating his shift was ending. The rest of the staff were unwilling to pick up where he left off, forcing me to continue the set-up with technical support on the phone after the store closed, which took twelve hours. The same associate who sold me the Google Pixel phone also sold me excessively reflective and pricey screen protectors for both phones, which impeded visibility. It took him several minutes to install the protectors. During the process, he maintained that he was the most knowledgeable person in the store when it comes to screen protectors. When I returned to the store requesting the screen protectors removed, I was met with mockery and disbelief from the store associates. Instead of addressing my concerns, the manager deflects blame and refuses any refund. To add insult to injury, I was ridiculed by another associate when I asked for assistance in removing the screen protector. Apart from my personal experiences, I've witnessed other customers vent their frustration about this store's lackluster service. It seems I'm not alone in my displeasure. The reviews on Google Maps have affirmed a consensus about this Verizon store: rude customer service, excessive wait times, overpricing, and aggressive, unhelpful sales tactics. My recommendation to Verizon is to address these grievances urgently. Improved staff training in both technical know-how and customer service is desperately needed. Implementing a customer satisfaction survey may also shed light on specific areas of improvement, as the store currently presents a stark contrast to the customer-centric approach expected in today's business landscape. I regretfully must advise potential customers to avoid this location. Undoubtedly, other Verizon stores in the area will offer a less stressful and more respectful shopping experience. Until evident changes are implemented at this store, it remains a source of dissatisfaction and inconvenience. Save your time, money, and peace of mind, and avoid this place.

I’m a loyal customer for nearly a decade who live right across queens blvd, and Verizon don’t let me do the online pick up in store(or any one within 50 miles), and this is just for a SIM card! How ridiculous is that! Oh, I get it. If customers cannot do pickup in store, then they’ll have to activate service there(instead of online), so their online-only rebates are automatically turned into in-store rebates which is either cut in half or totally gone. Great strategy, Verizon, bravo! How about us switching to a different carrier when new iPhone comes out?

I went to the store to exchange my about to (Explode) Galaxy note 7. The staff told me no.Yes I say staff because there was about three or four of them at the front desk /counter, they wouldn't exchange because I did not have the packaging box. I pleaded with them to just take the phone and give me a phone without the box, they still insist I had to bring the (Box) so I left with the about to explode NOTE 7.

There is a representative named Maat(last name) 👩🏾 who literally gave me wrong information about my device(phone), took my Sim out, and forgot to put it back in or at least a newone as I assumed it was put back in, and left with no sim. My phone needs a physical sim without esim activation. But she just gave me a empty phone back so i was with no service at all. So I had to spend my money for a trip back and asked for a new Sim which was the only resolution to the issue I had at first to begin with. My old Sim was a bit chipped and she blamed the antenna inside of my phone being completely damaged and said I need another device for a esim activation only after i asked what then... She wasnt giving anything conclusion as to what i can do next i had to ask her what shall i do now. She was not polite and selectively shows kindness like with male customers. She further gaslights at my second visit saying what I said is what it is for the Sim not connecting going in and out, and that after showing her with the new Sim in that the bars are now appearing, she says that's temporary. But my phone hasn't show any issue since the new Sim got insterted. She kept the card of the Sim so if there is any issue I know it's something with her and I will take action. Even though i concluded from the first visit that I will think about about the phone service plan she offered she shows attitude during the second time saying "I already told you all of this and explained everything before" in my head I'm like yea I said I will think about it and will come again with a smile. The way she dealt with me shows alot about her personality as a person out of work towards people, she is not professional and was avoidant to me the entire time as a customer perhaps only for my attire as I'm a devoted muslim and dress extremely covering 🥷🏼 anyway what goes around comes back around. She had absolute no reason to be that way as I was super kind as usual and did not even react during my second visit even though she's at fault keeping Sim out and giving wrong info, almost having me purchase another phone. She doesn't know what she's doing or what she's employed for, and crosses over her customers without finishing with one at a time. I wish I had known the other girl's name because she was very kind and tried to help a bit better. This place did not give me a pleasant experience.

After my review yesterday as expected still shocking my phone shows no sim card in the morning even when it's a brand new Sim placed...

First of all; I have nothing nice to say about this place. I go there, I told them I wanted to upgrade. So they told me I owed 2 and change left for my iPhone 8. I paid that off and got the new X phone. They told me that they keep the phone because I’m getting a new phone. They told me the promotion ended the next day and it was buy one get one. They never told Me it was buy one get one free for another line. NOW I have 4 lines on my account and only use 3. Also on my Verizon app it says my NEW number that I don’t even use is connected to the iPhone 8 that I don’t even own anymore. I paid for everything with a credit card and I have bank statements and on my Verizon bill the statements that state all the accessories were paid off. I looked at my monthly bill and it’s close to 700$ because of accessories are being financed when I have statements that THEY WERE PAID OFF! .. I want my iPhone 8 back and I want them to break down my bill because of there LIES ANS BEINF SNEAKY! .. I’m going back to the store and hope they fix this situation! I made a complaint on the store and will be taking them To court as well. Good thing my husband is a lawyer and has all My documents. People who do this for other people are scum! .. I might add they were very very rude and nasty to a elderly lady who came into to the store half hour prior closing and told her to leave because they store was closed. These are the kind of people that don’t deserve to work in a business like this. Work at a...
