There was a ridiculous amount of rude laughter and chortling during a queer performance involving my partner: theatre directors and other faculty in the audience would not and could not stop snickering whenever a spoken line involved something they disagreed with (pronouns, commentary on queer relationships, etc). It's quite clear how unprofessional and disrespectful the atmosphere is to young up and coming performers: I've had the misfortune of stepping into the audience once, and I promise you everyone I know will be discouraged from performing at your theatre. This production was performed in Spanish and English. I really loved the warm and inviting atmosphere of the Theater. The performers were very professional and sang extremely well.
