An employee at the so called Verizon store located in the Holiday Inn on Delancey Street did an absolutely HORRIFIC job of connecting a new phone to my account. The salesman in charge of this sale managed to completely knock my number out of service. In addition to this, my number is no longer the primary on the account. That distinction was passed to the line getting the new phone and an additional new mystery phone line, added as part of the sale, became the account's secondary number . After spending over 3 hours the next day at my local store, it was determined that things were so badly messed up NO ONE could understand what the Delancey Street salesman had done or why he did it. In addition, the VERIFIED Verizon employee I was dealing with was highly doubtful the Delancey Street store actually was an authorized Verizon dealer. As the new and now primary phone has only recently been activated and in use, it will take several days before that number can be used by Verizon corporate in order to verify MY number so I can get things straightened out. Until that time I will have NO PHONE SERVICE. So to whomever was on duty early Wednesday evening January 29th 2025 and in charge of this transaction, you are either a complete IDIOT or a card carrying member of the Society of Snake Oil Salesmen, primarily motivated by the commission you were hoping to receive when adding an additional phone line to our account. Thanks so much for the INCREDIBLE inconvenience and complete waste of my time your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy review is not based on this Verizon storefront, but at the Verizon corporation, my recent experience as a Verizon customer has been a big lesson on how corporations like Verizon not only make it hard for people to pay their bills on time with their confusing webpages and their customer service that canāt do nothing for you, but make you reiterate information, but it seems that unless you link your home, 5G service with a annual contract automatic payment service it is virtually impossible to make a payment on your 5G Internet service without spending hours upon days of trying to reach out to a live customer service representative only to get an automated robot that redirect you to another automated robot the Verizon customer service experience is the worst and Verizon has lost touch with the human side of doing business with their customers. Finally, after many hours and days of tracking down a customer service rep to accept payment on my account, they charge me a late fee, though I have been trying to pay my bill way in advance and was told that thereās no other way to remedy this unless I sign up for a yearly contract phone service that will link my 5G Internet home service making it easier for them to bill me. Forget about the customer experience. I would like to thank Verizon for showing me the real agenda that theyāre pushing with their services and itās to lock you in at high rates for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely patient and kind. There were some issues like the 2 hour call to Verizon . The rep cancellwd .y initial orderand I paid $144.x. for taxes which I had to pay again todat, The rel on the phone told me my new phone would be delivered to my home, It turned outI had to go back to 159 Delancy to get the phone. I had to pay the $144.xx again for taxes on the phone, I was told the original money would be refunded in a few business days. I hope so! The service I got at Delancy Street was fantastic. The rep was really great. My issue is a wasted three hours on the phone with Verizon, I called because the order said a black phone not silver as I requested. After the phone rep cancelled my initial order he then tells .e you have no silver phones in stock. So the order was cancelled for no reason and caused issues today for the store reps. I paid $144. twice Again I will be looking for the credit within a few business days. I want to emphasize that the service at the store was great but the phone fiasco was horrible and you need to address it. After over 30 years in the telophony and IT industry, I started with New York Telephone, I find it infuriating that you make it so hard to speak to a person and then when I finally speak to a person after 2 hours I get terrible...
