As far as performances go, this theater gets 3.5/5. They are okay but poorly produced.
The production value on all productions is beyond what any theater would hope for. Unfortunately, it's poorly managed, and no one knows what they are doing or how to prioritize or effectively produce a show (whether on tour in the city, or in the home venue).
The staff turnover has been ASTONISHING! I came on staff to help turn things around. I was never listened to. I was superceded, overworked, underpaid, disrespected, understaffed...I began to realize that the management and directors have no clue how to run a theater. They have survived due to the gratuity of other theaters and the city blindly funding them. They are biased, single-minded, and thrive off of the city (which, no secret, is frankly fed up with their shenanigans).

Read moreAbsolutely loved their children's programs! The actors were great at delivering the plays and it was refreshing to be at a show where the content was delivered in both English and Spanish. Not to worry though, even if your Spanish skills are weak or non-existent, you will still easily understand the presentations because of how it is delivered.
