I really wanted to like Squadron but it's very underwhelming. We purchased the "Take off" package which says it's 1.5 hours long but we only got 1 hour and when we asked about it we were told that it's up to 1.5 hours if it's a large group. That is clearly misleading as that's not on the website. They claim it's going to be thrilling but it's not as all you will do is fly through hoops with a goal of getting the best score. If your a true aviation fan here are things to know the simulator does not move and while all of the gauges, switches and instrument panels are functional you won't be using any of it. It's basically an overpriced Microsoft flight sim where you get to wear a flight suit. That all said the facility does look aesthetically cool. They do provide a debrief after each game session which isn't really informative. Overall I can't recommend this to anyone who is a true aviation fan. Id say try Dream Aero instead if they are near you. While its not a fighter sim it is a realistic simulator where you get supervision from a real pilot unlike this...

Booked a 2-hour session at the Squadron for my team at work. Some 18 of us came there, suited up in cool-looking Top Gun-like gear, took awesome photos, went through training through the instructors and then basically flew two different missions with some debrief in between.

The flight simulators are static (not moving), but you have almost a 180 degree view out of the cockpit. Learning to fly was pretty easy, and the team had a lot of fun. I think I wish was that the team could somehow interact more during the mission. It was mostly individuals (or pairs of two people) flying together, trying to collect points by flying the planes through virtual hoops.

At the end of the experience, they SMS you a link to a website where you can see all photos and personalized videos as well. I wish the website let's you download all photos at once, but instead you have to download each photo one-at-a-time.

Overall, it was a fun experience as a team building exercise, and I...

I had the pleasure of visiting the squadron in NYC, I was among a group of women, who came to have fun and also to try and learn something new about ourselves about challenges, achievements and setting goals via a real F-35 flight simulator missions. It was very vigorous, intense and felt real, put you in situations you need to make in splits seconds and to prepare yourself for every possible scenario. I enjoyed it very much learned from this experience a lot. The team at ‘The Squadron’ is wonderful, super professional, nice, knowledgeable and friendly which makes this experience to a positive one. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to experience and learn more about...

This is must do. Place was awesome. Place was so clean and set up great. I went aline and was paired up w two other guys which was great because we could challenge eachothers scores. The place is roomy with a large amount of Sims. U get into the cockpit you felling u are really there in a f-35. The whole experience was great. Mikey our instructor was great he explained everything to us and walked us through so e great debriefing and took so.e great pics. I will definitely be back place was like no other

Best experience in NYC!!! As an Air Force savvy I was shocked by how close this experience was to reality. The added value of the squadron is not only learning how to fly a fighters jet, but learning from Air Force professionals how to collaborate and lead teams. Our instructor Angel was so professional and kind. If you’re looking for a fantastic experience for you and your spouse, your family or your work team, check out the squadron!
