Extremely unprofessional Manager and incompetent Sales Associate (SA).
Background: On Saturday, June 22nd when I was shopping, SA left clip on one of the items I bought and I did not notice until I got home (Had head phones on, while leaving). Also, I wasn't stopped by the security either (which is 'interesting', because there must have been sound while I was passing by through detector). Today, Monday I wasted 2h to get here and take of the Clip. I asked for discount since I have wasted so much time out of my schedule and the SA asked for a manager. Once I have explained my situation she claimed that this is outlet and they dont give discounts. I was not asking for discount out of nowhere, they have not been competent in execution of their simple tasks, which cost me time and money to commute and resolve the matter. Manager rolled her eyes on me and said: "Fine, you want the discount..." and disappeared for few minutes. Came back and handed me overt the 20% expired coupon (December 31, 2023). Was she thinking that given her lack of professionalism and management skills I would trust her at face value? I returned it stating it's expiration and she brought the new one, this time with proper date. When I was leaving, she was already downstairs with her other co-workers gossiping about me and rolling their eyes on me. Seriously?! Bullying and intimidation tactics with respect to their customers? Common, Victoria Secret has a reputation of stellar customer service experience and the personnel at this location is simply lacking proper manners and skills (Especially the manager!). Can you imagine that if this is how she treats customers who leave their money in the business, then how toxic she must be with respect to the people she supervises? Intimidation, bullying, withholding of information crucial to the success and performance of the staff, biased performance reviews, gossiping?
I dont care about this 20% she gave me, because my time is way more valuable. But what I do care about is customer experience and how I feel after the purchase and during the adversity and special arrangements I had to make to get there and resolve the situation.
To whomever supervises this location: no worries I will reach out to the corporate and explain the situation in greater detail! She might tried to bully me, but she won't bully other who work with her or the...
Read moreI live close to this location and often pass it on my way to work and back home. I decided to stop in and utilize some reward coupons I got with my credit card. Upon entering, I was greeted by a security guard. The store was empty on a weekday afternoon and after a few minutes, I asked a sales rep to help me locate some items on the voucher. After a few backs and forth of her leaving and coming back, she told me a few of the coupons and discounts are not valid because they are already on sale. (On a side note, why send the offers if I can't use them on sale). I selected a few undergarments to purchase and the rep kept pushing me to get more. I had to say "no" several times and then she became very standoffish.
There was only one checkout section and it was upstairs. There was no elevator and I was already carrying bags and the store was overwhelmingly hot. When I got to the check out line, there was no clear and distinctive checkout line. Everything was disorganized and people lining up everywhere. The cashiers were also very slow and kept talking about themselves. Finally, my turn and this cashier kept pushing me to buy more things and after I said "no", she was a bit rude and hostile. She referred to me using coupons are going to make them go out of business. I don't understand how that is my fault when I am paying for items AND the coupon was sent to me.
I don't care how many rewards and loyalty points I have on my credit card. I will never go to this location again. To be honest, after this experience I can see why people are not visiting VS and...
Read moreThis Location is really understocked and does not utilize it's space wisely. I didn't know the employees work on commission; I learned this from another review. There is actually one girl who is really dedicated to helping the customer. So, Crystal, Thank You. I appreciate your services. Regardless of the overstaffed under stocked store, the business is doing quite well. On a weekend I would say there was a fair amount of people shopping. Besides the fact that they do not display a large number of sale items for maybe the benefit of commission; their full priced items are attractive. Their idea of a business ordeal is pretty mainstream; displaying more expensive items in the front of the store. Except for the semi-annual sales taking place twice a year. Suggestions: An eye-catching selection of colors and prints with mixed prices would cater your audience more because of your location where people aren't the biggest of spenders locally. Requests: Please price all sale pieces. Arrange daily checks making sure all sale items are priced and are accurate. This was a problem in both upstairs and downstairs. Overall, I haven't shopped at this store much because of the issues I stated. When I did try to shop and was confident I was going to make a purchase I didn't receive the help I needed. I got annoyed with the staff and the countless trips to the fitting room. I ended up picking something from the narrow selection the store offered. I didn't want to go back to avoid inconvenience, thus, keeping the items even if I liked or...
