It's just ok. The food is decent. This is my second time at this location. It wasn't that good for the hype, but I gave it a 2nd chance. It can be spicy depending on the add-ons. That's where they price hike you. A Lazy, disagreeable employee added to my problem. I ordered the 3 dips. Egg plant, harissa & red pepper humas. They're $5 each. You receive no pita chips with those dips. So I bought 1 order. They gave me 2 chips, which is basically half of a pita bread.

That price is an additional $5 for 1 order which ended up with me having to purchase 2 orders, just to make a meal. I was told later by another employee that I should've received 5 chips for $5, but I wasn't about to get into an argument over pita chips. Definitely won't be coming back to this location. With my tea, it cost me $29 & some change. That's definitely way too high for lunch. I know there are much better places to eat in the area with lower prices. I gave the 3 stars because of my daughter-in-law. She really likes the food.

My 2 grandkids ate the kids size meals & they both ate most of their meal. So it wasn't a complete failure. Their total bill was $41 & some change (1 adult meal + tea & 2 kid meals, which includes a drink), so to me, that was reasonably priced.

I know my total wasn't reasonable at all. I'll probably give Cava another chance but at some other location in the OKCity area. I also know I won't be going back if I'm by myself. I'll only go if & when my daughter-in-law & grands are with me.

If & when I go again, I think the kids' meal is a better option because, honestly, the kids got close to the same amount as an adult meal. So I'm actually interested in seeing if I can find a way of getting a sense able lunch at a reasonable price. Stay tuned for my next review on CAVA. It should be...

I'm quite surprised. I've eaten CAVA in Dallas and this shocked me. Portion sizes were way, WAY to small, and I'm comparing them to what I get in Dallas CAVA stores. You know what was the same? The COST. Kid's meal gave us two small falafels. At other CAVA's I've been to, I get three, and they were bigger than the ones I got here. My rice bowl was half filled compared to other CAVA's. The portion scoop is noticeably smaller than in my previous experience. I'd venture a guess that it was a half oz portion scoop? MAYBE 1 oz, but even that's too small a side of hummus to be included in rice bowl that cost us just under $15. My girlfriend insisted we share an entree based on our previous experiences, and she was shocked to see that I (one person) wasn't going to be satisified with the one entree.

On top of that, pita chips were saturated with oil. I get that they're fried, but these were fried and sitting out a long while. My lamb was salty, and a whopping $3 additional.

Overall, portions were so ridiculously small compared to other experiences at CAVA. CAVA is a bit pricey to begin with, but portions at this particular store are not correct.

I wish I had taken pictures, but I was so disappointed that I didn't take them. Then, as I ate, I was getting more and more upset and decided to post our experience. I usually don't post bad experiences, having been a restaurant owner, but this really warranted...

I am writing to share my concern about the inconsistent in portions at the CAVA in Norman. As a regular customer, I’ve always appreciated the quality of your food, but I’ve noticed that the portions seem smaller and vary from visit to visit. On some occasions, I’ve felt that I’m receiving less than what I typically expect for the price. Every other location I’ve ever been to has filled the bowl to at least touching the lid, but the Norman location provided a bowl about half full.

I understand that some variation is inevitable, but the inconsistency in the size of the portions has become noticeable and detracts from the overall dining experience. It would be helpful if more attention were given to ensuring consistent portion sizes to maintain the value and satisfaction that your customers have come to expect at your price point.

I hope you’ll take this feedback into consideration and work toward improving the consistency of portions at this location. Thank you for your attention to...

The food tastes good and the customer service is great too. My fav so far is the Greek salad. The greens and veggies were nice and crispy and the chicken was well seasoned. The Greek salad comes with a Greek dressing but I also like the Harissa Vinaigrette dressing too. I didnt really care for the regular pita on the side because it had a strange flavor and it had a weird texture due to it not being warmed up or toasted on a grill. The pita chips were good and not too oily but heavy on the salt so I will definitely request low or no salt next time. My only major complaint is the price. For what you pay they definitely need to add more greens to the bowls. I added avocado one day and noticed it was a $2.50 charge and though Im aware of price increases I wasnt ready for that lol. I havent signed up yet but I did see they have a rewards program so I would defintely look into that if you eat here often. Would I eat here again absolutely.

Cava is a fresh, mediterranean twist on the full-service, micro-cafeteria style fast food restaurant. Just like the others (Qdoba, Chipotle, etc.) you start with your bowl or pita then go down the line of servers choosing which ingredients to sprinkle or pile on. There's lots of mediterranean items to pick from like black lentils, mini cucumbers, kalamata olives, feta cheese crumbles, etc. They also have signature dishes, like the Lemon Chicken & Greek Salad, if you can't decide which ingredients look the tastiest. The soda fountain dispenses real sugar sodas, or you can help yourself to tea or another fresh beverage. I thought the Cucumber Mint Lime drink from the bubbler was very refreshing! It's a busy & fun little spot with plenty of seating inside or out on the patio. I recommend the jalapeno pesto for a topper!

First time trying CAVA after always hearing about it online. I was definitely not disappointed! It was a party for my tastebuds and I could literally eat here every day and not get bored with all the countless combinations you can create for your bowl or pita wrap. I wish we lived closer because I promise I’d be here so often the staff would know me by name. It’s just the Mediterranean version of Chipotle. Everything was so fresh and made with natural, organic ingredients that left your stomach feeling clean. Nice added touch was the Maine Root Soda machine which we love because it’s “healthy” soda. Try the blueberry, it’s amazing!
