My boyfriend and I stopped in to test his old Game Boys and browse for games—a routine visit, given our generally positive experiences here in the past. Unfortunately, this trip was ruined by one individual whose conduct was nothing short of disgraceful. A heavily tattooed employee, ostentatiously sporting a cross and clearly convinced of his own edgy superiority…treated us with inexplicable hostility. When my partner dared to lean slightly to inspect the screen on his own device, this man reacted as if we had committed some unforgivable trespass. His tone was dripping with condescension, his demeanor that of a bouncer at an exclusive club rather than a retail worker paid to assist customers. Even after he politely apologized (though he had nothing to apologize for), his attitude remained venomous. To compound the irritation, the store was blaring obnoxious heavy metal music at an absurd volume, as if the goal was to repel rather than welcome patrons. If this had been our first visit, it would have been our last. The fact that we’ve had good experiences here before is the only reason we might reluctantly return, but if this individual remains employed, we won’t bother. I come here quite often, the games are top notch but some are pricey, like really pricey, i bought a copy of fallout 3 for ps3 and it crashed as soon as i tried to leave the vault (mind you i wasn't able to save so i had to restart twice) i did get a full refund however which i am satisfied with. speaking of that ps3 the condition i received it in was god awful, controller was sticky and the console itself was covered in so much dirt it was like a biker took it out on a dusty plain on the side of the bike, the disc drive is so bad it scratched up a lot of movies i tried to play in there. and the controller is so crappy i had to take it apart and put it back together again just to get it to work, and even then it wouldn't connect wirelessly until i put it back together! but enough negativity because this place is great for grabbing cheap retro games and movies that aren't on streaming services. i just wish some products weren't so pricey and of...

Had lots of fun in this store with me and my girl. It definitely transported me back to my childhood. The staff is awesome too. I could discuss music with them, anime and video games.

I HIGHLY appreciate they have CD’s in here from all types of genres. I saw some in there I didn’t expect to see from bands I’ve listened to since I was a kid.

The only downside is the overpricing of certain things. Nearly $50 bucks for a PS4 controller is highway robbery. I wouldn’t even pay that much for a vintage controller. Let alone a PS4 controller.

Lots of overpriced vintage games as well. I understand they need to make a sell. But those prices have got to come down. I wouldn’t buy a video game in here.

Lots of other places you can get vintage games for a more fair price. Even during an era like the one we live in where the PS2 is considered vintage along with the PS3.
