I would prefer to give less than 1 Star. But I’ll give them 1 Star for being clean.
This is a very, very dishonest store. Beware of their so called sales, discounts, and online coupons. They make up rules on sales and don’t honor things. They will rip you off!
I purchased something on sale from their meat dept. it had a big yellow discount sticker. But at check out the clerk(Lois) didn’t ring it up correctly. So no discount. I would NOT have purchased any of these so-called sale items if not for the sale/discounts.
Then they have online coupons that are supposed to automatically be added when selected to your Kroger card. It didn’t work!
Then there is the biggest bait and switch. The so-called sale that if you buy 6 of a particular item you will get it for a rock bottom price. This dip purchased should have priced at $1.49 each. It didn’t. The 6 items priced at a total of $.40 more than it should have. In other words it’s not possible to get the item regardless of how many you buy for $1.49 each. It’s not mathematically possible.
I did make a mistake that I was willing to take a hit for. I had purchased several different things that were part of this sale in quanities of 6. But there were these two random items that I didn’t want a huge quantity, so I only purchased one each. However, I was willing to pay full price and knowingly not but with the sale. But I guess you don’t get a choice. Kroger decides for you and their choice works to their advantage only.
Instead Kroger gave me the extra discount on each of these random items and then turned around and charged me FULL PRICE on 12 things. These 12 did qualify for quantity of 6 rule. But again this Kroger doesn’t care.
I also had some free store coupons for products Kroger sent to me personally. However again I was told “no, not covered” by Lois. It didn’t matter that it was Kroger’s fault for not realizing their verbiage on the coupons was too vague, and thus this did make me qualify for a more expensive item.
Lois must not have felt I should get this discount, regardless of what her supervisor told her. On one particular item her supervisor specifically told her to correct it to the higher discounted amount for the free cake mix. She didn’t do it. This made the so-called box of free cake mix actually cost me $.99.
I did call customer SVC and spoke with Chelsey about the above. She said I could come to the desk by 8pm, but store was open till 11 with a store manager.
HUGE MISTAKE on my part thinking I could work with anyone in this store. I had the displeasure of taking to Sergio/Asst MGR and Michael/acting store manager. WORST CUSTOMER SVC EVER! You would have thought they had to pay me from their own wallets.
They were exceptionally rude from the moment Sergio walked up. Not one good thing came out of his mouth, all he did was tell me I was wrong. He stood with crossed arms telling me what I was desccouldnt happen. He was so close to calling me a liar and that I was stealing. These two managers clearly didn’t care who heard the situation. And due to my physical handicap my voice can get loud. My hearing isn’t good plus more.
These two men basically explained how the sales went. They didn’t care about the coupons etc. Sergio saying it just couldn’t happen and wouldn’t even go over the prices and pictures I had.
Michael only said that I purchased 32 items and that an uneven number, not a quantity of 6. So I guess if this happens they can charge you full price on ANYTHING you are buying and at ANY QUANTITY. And of course who cares about discount stickers, and online coupons.
I offered several times to come back a different day. Instead I left crying due to the bullying.
I honestly can’t imagine treating a 53 year old woman with true legal physical disabilities the way they did. I’m sure I was talking too loud but I always do when I get upset. I was getting more and more upset because no matter how nice I started off being they treated me so poorly.
I ended up paying way more for things. Don’t shop at...
Read moreYour Kroger Marketplace on 9150 N. Tarrant Parkway North Richland Hills, TX 76182 needs some major help with the pharmacy department. Maybe being smart enough to be a pharmacist is not the only criteria you should use in selecting someone to represent your store. You need someone with the ability to have a human element. They seem to have this crazy assumption that everyone that needs their product is some sort of drug addict. My wife had trouble getting over the counter allergy medicine. Despite not being flagged in the system for buying over the threshold, the pharmacist decided on his own that she was buying too much. Some people do not just buy for themselves when they have children that are not able to buy their own.
Now fast forward to me dropping off a new Rx for my son. They wont fill it without verifying with the Dr first because it's twice the average dosage. Dr. is off on Friday. Was that your SOLE decision on not filling? Well it's a legitimate non- pain, non-narcotic Rx from a real Dr that you could likely look up on your system or heck, Google his info to see he's legit. Our "little man" is 6"7" and built like an NFL offensive lineman and ya know, everything he does is bigger. Unlike you little phama man, some folks area actually taller than average. I had no trouble going up the road and getting it filled at Market Street and it was our first time there too. Their license was not "on the line" for filling a legitimate Rx. Why was it for you? You customer service is absolutely horrible to assume everyone walking up to your window is there for some nefarious reason. It's not it was pain meds or narcotics or something. Despite your store being convenient, we cannot bring our business there. This place will go through hoops to make sure you do not get what you need. Maybe that's why there is a line at Walgreen's across the street and no line at all at...
Read moreHad an issue with a car registration renewal. I went to court to dismiss the ticket and was unable to because I had not paid a $10.71 late registration fee. The court ordered that I pay the full fine of $175. I went back to the store to ask for help with paying that fee. Ada said that she asked me if I had a ticket which she did not. She said she does not make mistakes and that I said no to the question. This was my first time using a grocer to renew my registration. I asked to speak with a manager and Jonathan comes over to speak with me. He admits he knows nothing about how the registration works and that Ada is the best with handling registrations. I have followed up twice on this issues even finding Jonathan in isle and asking about the follow up. He tells me Sophia is going to reach out to me. He then states he is surprised she hasn’t. I waited on making this review hoping that I would a least get a call and talk about the problem. I have yet to get a call and it has been two weeks. I have done what I can to try and talk with her. I spend over $400 a month at this store in groceries not including gas. I have decided to no longer use Kroger due to lack of concern from employees and management.
We all make mistakes and to say that Ada is the best and she can’t because she said she didn’t is not good customer service. I would still like to be contacted to talk about this...
