Mountain Fitness — Attraction in Oakhurst

The individuals that work here are very rude. I had a membership here about 2 years ago, and messaged them through instagram to cancel my membership. They did. I renewed my membership about 3 months ago and messaged them again on instagram to cancel it and they refused to do so. As someone who works in the hospitality industry here in mariposa, and lives here in mariposa and coached varsity boys soccer here at Mariposa Highschool, the treatment I’ve experienced has been other worldly. They are refusing to refund me my money when, though I have not been there in over 2 months. As someone who lives off of tips it’s hard enough to keep above water in the winter time, yet here they are sucking the life out the locals. A shame. Twenty four hour access to this awesome gym was like a slice of heaven for me - I'm a personal trainer or stated more formally, a fitness professional/movement specialist. There are heavy dumbbells and machines for any body part on one side of the facility. To the other there is open space and all sorts of equipment for functional training or if you have something creative in mind. There are also some cardio machines all the way to the back. I thoroughly enjoyed working out here throughout last week while on vacation in California. Oh, and there are lockers but my motel room was a block away so I never really used them. Lastly, they have supplements as well as some nice shirts and tank tops...

Very helpful staff. Visited as a tourist and had excellent equipment. The gym itself is relatively small, but that's definitely a positive. It's a very nice and stimulating place to work out. It's very calm so never had to wait to use a machine or equipment. Equipment is high quality. 24 hours open is great.

They offer a day or a week pass, which can be obtained by scanning the QR-code outside the door. But make sure you do it in advance through their website or arrive on time when there's still staff at work, because I had some trouble with that (no local phone number, U.S. residents should be fine).
