Temple View Inn — Hotel in Ogden

Found a loaded needle when showed it to the owner he giggled and told me to put it in the trash. Dead cockroach that I killed on door Mat. Had to argue with Ariel to get the “free” water or ice, she said we can have one every once in a while. TY err is expired food for sale, they are over a year expired. Trying to get towels and blankets from Ariel is a nightmare had to go get ours from storage. Watched the owner Toni take a female into a room with no power and come out 15/20 min later fixing their clothes. Also they rent to a lot of drunks and people whom assume are high and they made it so we don’t like to go out side cuz we felt unsafe! We have been cleaning our own room since we been here cuz the cleaners hardly came by. Also behind the bed there is exposed live wires, luckily my husband is an electrician and fixed ours. I was paying &80.00 to $120.00 a night my mom paid for a few rooms on Expedia and Toni the owner wanted to make me pay the difference and he didn’t like that I paid $58.00 on there so he changed the price. It is way too over priced and depending on who’s in the office your rate will change. Ariel listed on my room that my rates are now $100 weekdays and $120 weekends because of “summer rate!” But when I ask Victoria and Toni they said no such thing. I do have videos of everything that’s happened. Edited I have pictures of the expired food he try’s to sale as well. There has been a bees nest above our door the whole time we have been here and we have told management over and over and nothing was done. I am allergic to bees and I’ve told them that as well, well I just got stung and had to use my eppie pen. Also there are no phones in the rooms so how can you call 911? Also there are huge spiders everywhere, we’ve killed more than we care to count a few black widows as well. ** when checking out they held half my deposit unless I gave them a 5 star google review. They bribe people with a credit of $5.00 to get expired food they have there. And was holding half my deposit hostage unless I gave them a five star review. How come they are not shut down?

Victoria is a very sweet, intelligent, and works extremely hard. We wouldn’t be staying here as long as we have if it wasn’t for Victoria, the other two clerks are a different story. Ariel is a little discriminatory towards us, and a few others that have been staying here. She extremely rude and charges for items the other clerks don’t charge per the policy they have here. She has also tried charging higher rates than what we were charged from the day before. When you go into the office she is always on the phone with someone and gets very confrontational for Interfering with her phone call.

Victoria is such an amazing human being and unlike Ariel who isn’t really made out for the Hospitality business. Victoria on the other hand she is firm, fair, and extremely kind and respectful...

WARNING! DO NOT CHECK IN ON SUNDAYS! Even though they show 'open' and 'vacancy' on their door on Sundays, no one will be there. Unfortunately, we didn't get the memo and had to call 4 times before reaching someone, and had to wait 5 minutes for them to show.

It was clear they weren't expecting us, the bathroom was cleaned at some point, but not recently. I hit my head on the shower head a few times, and I'm not all that tall. The far side of the bed did not have anywhere to charge devices, and no complimentary breakfast. The worst part was that they opened the door on me because their system showed that I had checked out. Thankfully, it was right before I started showering and not during. It's what I'd expect for a $60 stay, but not $80. The Motel 6 down the road might be a better choice.

I still give a 3 star review because It's reasonable that I booked this room in a method they didn't expect, and I didn't know that Sundays were a no go. The location is good, but since it's on the main road, you should expect to be woken up a few times by loud mufflers, and to be fair, you should expect the same at the motel 6. I just don't see a reason to pay $20 more for an...

Edit** (I’m keeping this review at 5 stars solely because of Tony and Victoria) Ariel is absolutely cruel and mean. Avoid her, ask for Tony or Victoria.

Ariel is the reason this place would have anything less than 5 stars.

Victoria does everything around here. This place has a heart, and they care a lot.

I can’t tell you how much better this is than other options around.

New management, including Tony are so helpful.

I’m told there is another individual, and I’m sure they are awesome, too.
