By far the worst venue I have ever worked with, and we have worked with quite a few. They nickel and dime everything to ensure they are the only ones making money. The security who we are paying for is rude to start. While we are unloading at the venue in the bay we paid to rent for 2 days she keeps yelling at us to hurry up and move. They charged for chairs if your event needs chairs. Not some they really bring up until you agree to rent the place. They charge for tables, once again not something they really advertise. We told them upon initial visit we had to have dedicated wifi because this will be streamed nationwide. They didn't set it up, waited until the day before, then told me it would be $3k. No other venue has charged us for that. On top of that their wifi was by far the worst dedicated wifi we have ever used. We had to dumb down the production just to try to get it to stop lagging and kicking us out. Electricity, you need electricity.... they have it available for you. $2k-10K will get you a few additional drops of electricity. That will of course overload and trip during the show and have to be reset. They won't tell you until during the show that your non flammable cold sparks are not allowed..... unless of course you pay for a permit. Which once again, has never been an issue anywhere. Their "third party" vendors that you are required to use are difficult to deal with. From Encore who tell you everything you want to hear, until you pay them then they treat you like dirt. Or the their "food" supplier and distributor who tried to charge me $5 per bottle of water to put in the locker rooms for my fighters. They were reasonable however and told me I could pay them $150 and bring my own bottled water for fighters and workers. Very nice of them... You have a customer at a VIP table who like a pitcher of water to go with the meal your providing them... No worries just a mere $65 added to your bill by this "third Party" vendor. I can go on and on and will via other outlets. But this place and the city that owns this place does not care about you. They just want big events from other states, and of course want your money...

An older black female dressed as a Convention Center staff member at the RV Show on Saturday night, Jan. 4, 2025, between 7:30 and 8:00 p.m., was assigned to and sitting behind, the Information Booth on the East Wall of the OKC Convention Center 100 Mick Cornett Drive. She was extremely obnoxious, rude, and loud, yelling at me unnecessarily. And she would not listen to me, by repeatedly interrupting me, nor answering any of my simple questions for directions, in front of a Witness. I remained level-headed and calm the entire time. As a result, she gave us entirely erroneous opposite directions, where we had to walk almost a quarter mile on foot further than necessary, to reach our car. I suffer from congestive heart failure, and I am on the Baptist Hospital's active Heart Transplant Recipient Donor List, and ended up sick afterwards. To the point where I have considered taking legal action against the City of OKC. You need to investigate this incident, as I observed that you do have video evidence of it on your surveillance system, and FIRE HER from your organization. I possess two MBA Degrees from a private University. It was a very embarrassing scenario to be yelled at by an obviously under-educated, untrained individual. Until then, I will tell everyone I meet who will listen, about how terrible your facility is, because of her. I am on the verge of contacting the media directly, about her erratic...

The International Conference On Missions was thrilled to host our conference with thousands of attendees here in November. The convention was wonderful and very easy to get to everything! The convention center Senior Event manager, Madelynn Stolins, along with her evening co-hort, Laurel Wilson, were both outstanding! I don't think we waited more than a few minutes for Madelynn or Laurel to fix or help us with any single thing that came up! Madelynn was our main event manager and I think she is truly one of the best event managers we have worked with! We also want to give a shoutout to our Food & Beverage Catering Sales Manager, Candice Henderson. She and the chef worked hard to give us such delicious meals that met our budget and we were thrilled to have them cater so many of our events! Truly, they worked so hard to give all our attendees so many different food venues. OKC Convention Center, we are very grateful and we truly appreciate everything all of you did for ICOM and our attendees! Everyone we came into contact with at the convention center was amazing - the event leaders, the custodial crews, the different servers and wait staff. We are so thankful for the OKC...

For many years Oklahoma City has lacked a nice convention center. First time visiting today, while not as large as Orlando, Vegas, or Dallas for that matter, it was very nice. Just south of the Omni Hotel and East off Scissortail Park, it is a great addition to the Oklahoma City sky line. 4 main halls labeled A-D and moving North to south in the building with several other smaller or side rooms for meetings it’s easy to navigate. It has a amazing balcony overlooking the park. Definitely worth a booking and a visit! Upstairs on the fourth floor had a nice area with a food court. Adding plenty of pictures to have a look.

Gorgeous building inside and out. Close parking at a good price. We attended Anime 405 and had an absolute blast! The convention center staff was wonderful! I use a rolling walker, and they made sure I was okay without being annoying. There was an elevator and escalators. There was also a Christmas party in an area that had an arcade that was blocked off, and the convention staff was polite when redirecting the anime convention goers. The convention area was huge and well organized. Pictured is my my 18yo daughter in cosplay enjoying the anime convention.

Beautiful but no vending machines. We left our training room to go upstairs for lunch only to come back and our bright colored cups that were gifted to us were gone from our tables! Nothing else just the cups! We started asking people moving about the center if they saw anything or knew who took them and why. We started class again and I watched a young lady bring them back into the back of the room and then rush away pushing a trash receptacle on wheels. She is an employee!!!! On the way in we found a bat sleeping by the porch pillar! Fun!
